I could not praise Little Acorn enough for everything they’ve done for my soon-to-be 6 year old son over the past 4 years. We were at another daycare and tired of the constant mystery illnesses our child would be sent home with 1 day into the week. As with any change in a child’s schedule, we were nervous but knew we had to make a change. Our first visit to Little Acorn reminded me of my own daycare / preschool (as far as I can recall). The staff was welcoming, personable, and reassuring to all anxious parties. They treated my son as though he was theirs over the course of 4 years and we are so glad to have made the change! To note: We enrolled prior to the Covid era and did not have one instance of concern as Little Acorn adapted - and communicated - transitioning requirements to make the children less stressed about returning to their schedule. Caleb will miss them SO very much!
Kate ThompsonJul 20, 2024Little Acorn Academy was a wonderful experience for my daughter. I met her teacher by chance and it was the best thing that I could’ve asked for. They are caring and patient, loving and respectful. My daughter is going to be in second grade this year and we still keep in touch with Little Acorn via donations and visits to see Miss Karen and Miss Patty. We will never forget them, as they were an institution that grounded my little girl to set her on a path for growth and learning. We are forever indebted to Little Acorn Academy for putting her in the right direction for education and loving school. Thank you to all at Little Acorn!!!
Danielle PagsJun 28, 2024Both my toddlers currently go to little acorn. They switched over at 18 months and have been loving it ever since. My daughter asks to go see Ms. Karen everyday. The staff have been so caring toward all the children, I know when I leave them for the day they are in good hands. I’m so glad we made the switch to Little Acorn.
Kayla DakakeJun 22, 2024Little Acorn was one of the best choices I could of made for both of my children that attended. They went afew years apart and Mrs. Karen was such an amazing woman and teacher. The preschool/daycare helped my children grow so much in the years they attended. They both had horrible separation anxiety but at Little acorn they learned how to make friends and how to play with others. They learned everything they needed to be able to enter kindergarten when the time came and excel to the fullest. When friends and family seen the amazing growth in our kids they even sent their littles ones. We honestly wish Mrs. Karen could of followed our kids up through the school years! Her passion for teaching little ones is unmatched! If you want your kids to want to learn, also to enjoy going to daycare/preschool Little acorn is the best choice.
Heather WildJun 19, 2024Our son literally sprints into Little Acorn every morning and doesn’t want to leave when we pick him up! I can’t think of a more compelling testament to how wonderful Little Acorn is than that! I have witnessed first hand Little Acorn’s teachers encouraging children to practice self love to be great kids, and develop respect to become competent adults in the future. It is challenging to establish that balance, and Little Acorn does a phenomenal job! Parents are encouraged to collaborate with the team to make the experience impactful for the entire family. If you want to see your child flourish in a safe and encouraging environment, Little Acorn is the place!
Benjamin MandevilleJun 14, 2024My daughter was 18 months when she got there. My experience with Ms.Patti was nothing short of perfect! I always felt safe sending my daughter there she learned and soaked everything in like a sponge all the teachers my daughter had always made us feel like family! My daughter is going to be graduating from little acorn and I am deeply saddened leaving my little acorn family!! They are amazing, patient, kind, caring they are the happiest. People to greet in the morning and to see after a longs day at work! This is the place if you want your child to blossom I will miss everyone one of you!
