I cannot say enough about how grateful I am for not only the environment Paper Crown offered my kids, but the community of families and teachers it came with. I was fortunate enough to have both my children attend Paper Crown and swear that the love of learning and strong emotional regulation they gained there has been central to their success in school. Julia is doing something very special in the curriculum she provides, the staff she employs, and the atmosphere she creates for the children. I genuinely cannot recommend PCP enough! There’s a reason there is a waitlist!
Amanda FieldingFeb 24, 2025I honestly can't say enough good things about Paper Crown Preschool. It came in the most reliable form of recommendation in Rhode Island, which is word-of-mouth. I had at least 4 people recommend this school to me, and I have since sent several families, a few of which also enrolled. The calm environment, minimalist decor, and prioritized outdoor-play were instant sellers to me. The staff is also longer-tenured than at some of the schools I visited and less turnover is better for all parties involved. I currently have an almost 4 year old and an almost 2 year old enrolled and to say they've thrived would be an understatement. I know exactly how the teachers teach because my daughter comes home and plays teacher by instructing her stuffed animals using the same language. Julia, the owner is wonderful and incredibly responsive to concerns or questions. The only warning is that there is a wait list, so go get on it ASAP, you will not regret it.

From instructional quality and support, to assessment and curriculum, the team of educators at Paper Crown had such a profound impact on our daughter’s development during her most formative years. Their support and education not only benefitted my daughter, but our entire family. I am a stronger parent, human and educator as a result of my daughter attending Paper Crown. As a former state administrator of early learning (in both RI and MA,) I could not recommend this program enough.
