  A group of children was brought on a field trip to a local zoo and loved to yell at all of animals; including the lion on hospice. They may be getting taught martial arts but apparently that does not include basic decency included with most martial arts. Or the leaders did not check-in ahead of time on what was going on at the zoo or communicate with the other leaders via text or call of what was going on. I watched THREE groups come to the lions area and yell at it to “stand up” or “roar”. I, as an attendee, tried only once to point out one of the signs to one of the leaders that stated the lion was elderly and in hospice. The groups only coming under control once a zoo employee asked them not to yell and explained that the lion was very old and it’s hard for him to get up now that he is a grandpa age. It is so hard to watch something like this happen and feel you can’t say anything because these are not your children. By the way, the lion passed away, that’s how old and fragile it was.

  RITC It's a fantastic place for children, they enjoy and learn discipline, focus, concentration and more great values. Master Park is lovely, have a full experience in the martial arts and he is benevolent, kind, respectful and patience with all the students and parents. I truly recommend RITC for children and adults.

  RITC is an outstanding place for kids to grow, learn, and have fun all at the same time. The environment is positive and structured, allowing children to build discipline while still enjoying themselves. The staff does a great job of keeping kids engaged, teaching valuable skills, and encouraging respect and teamwork. It’s a perfect balance between learning and fun, and you can really see the confidence it builds in the kids.   RI Taekwondo Center (RITC) offers one of the best after-school Taekwondo programs in Pawtucket Rhode Island. Master Park truly care about the students and focus on building discipline, respect, confidence. The after-school program provides a safe and structured environment where children can stay active, complete homework, and train in traditional Taekwondo. The staff gives individual attention and encourages every children to improve both physically and mentally. .

  I highly recommend RITC and Master Park. The instruction is excellent, and the environment is very positive for students of all ages. Master Park is extremely dedicated, disciplined, and truly cares about developing not only strong martial artists but also confident and respectful individuals. The program focuses on character, respect, and hard work. Students receive great technical training while also learning life skills like perseverance and self-control.   We love RITC. My twin boys used to take taekwondo lessons with Master Park in the past and when we found out he had opened his own school we immediately went in for a tour and signed them up. Master Park is one of a kind. His patience, dedication, and genuine care for the students are felt in every single class, every interaction, the quality of the uniforms and even the snacks he shares with the kids. He doesn’t just teach taekwondo, he teaches our children how to believe in themselves, how to show respect, and how to persevere even through challenges. Knowing that our boys are being guided by someone who leads with integrity and heart is incredibly meaningful to us. His influence will shape their lives in a positive and lasting way, and we are deeply grateful for everything he does. Our boys love him and have something sweet to say every time we leave class. I will give his center 10 stars if I could!
