  • My family has had the absolute best experience at ELCRI in East Greenwich. My kids receive specialized EI and therapeutic services that come in to do therapies and they work with the teachers, who actually do apply their suggestions. One of my kids is higher needs and they have just gone above and beyond for her, and demonstrate so much love and care. My kids love going to school, including the one that used to struggle with separation. They run into class and my 2 year old puts her things away independently! I'm blown away by how much both of my kids have learned; they do lessons and circle time, and we get regular art, updates and photos of all the amazing learning they're doing there. I feel like both kids will be very prepared for kindergarten, and I feel very lucky that they're having such a positive first school experience.

  • I’m very disappointed with my recent experience. I picked up my son from daycare and found out he had a temperature of 103°F. No one contacted me throughout the day to inform me that he was running a high fever. When I arrived, one of the teachers casually mentioned that he had a high temperature. As a parent, I expect to be notified immediately if my child is sick, especially with such a serious fever. This lack of communication is extremely concerning. Also, I am extremely concerned about what I witnessed during pickup. I saw a staff member grab a child and swing them by their legs. It was very alarming and upsetting to see this kind of physical handling at a daycare. Children should be treated with care and respect at all times. I strongly urge management to address this immediately, as child safety should always be the top priority.

  • Our daughter has been at ELC East Greenwich for about a month, and the transformation has been incredible. She is joyful, confident, and truly flourishing. Her vocabulary and language have exploded in such a short time, and we can see how much of that comes from the teachers’ patience, warmth, and willingness to meet her exactly where she is. The small teacher-to-student ratio makes such a difference — Isabelle is genuinely known, supported, and celebrated here. A special thank-you to Ms. NeNe, whose steady guidance and reassurance gave me my confidence back after a really difficult experience at a local Montessori program. And to Ms. Ely, who loves Isabelle as if she were her own — we see it in every drop-off, every story Isabelle brings home, every little milestone. We’re so grateful for the comfort and stability you’ve given her. And honestly, the appreciation extends to every teacher in the building. Even those who don’t directly oversee Isabelle still greet her (and us!) with smiles, enthusiasm, and so much warmth. You can tell this is a place where kids are genuinely loved. We couldn’t be happier. ELC East Greenwich has been such a gift to our family. Highly, highly recommend.

  • This is hands down the best daycare and only one I would recommend. My son is currently in pre-k and has the absolute best time there. This daycare is very interactive and structured for learning. My son is 4 and can count to 100, knows his ABCs, knows how to sound out every letter, knows all of his colors and shapes, and knows how to spell. My mother is an elementary teacher and she tells me all the time that she has students who can’t read, write, or count as well as he can. 10 out of 10 recommend this daycare to anyone and everyone. We moved to Coventry but still make the commute because of how much my son loves the teachers and his friends. We love it so much that our daughter who will be born in March will go here full time as well.

  • I highly recommend Early Learning Center of RI in East Greenwich for infants and toddlers. My child is being well taken care of by their experienced and attentive staff. The communication is excellent, keeping me updated on my child's activities. The facility is always clean and the infant teachers, Miss Sarah, Miss Leona, and Miss Angela, are outstanding. They have gone above and beyond in caring for my child and ensuring his well-being. Their nurturing nature and expertise in early childhood development have undoubtedly contributed to my son's overall growth and happiness. Overall, I highly recommend ELC of RI in East Greenwich to all parents seeking an outstanding childcare center for their toddlers. The level of care provided, open communication, and the exceptional cleanliness make it an ideal choice for any parent.
