Both of my daughters attend Cane Bay Academy and have since they were 4 months (the oldest is now 3) and I cannot say enough great things about this place. I can tell how much the teachers and staff love my children and how well cared for they are. Both of my girls absolutely love going to school and seeing their teachers each day. They learn so much and I'm constantly amazed at the things they learn at school. The director Sarah is so incredible and helpful and all of the teachers are so loving and great with the kids. They do a lot of fun activities and events during the weeks to make things even more fun for the kids and even some events outside of the school days. We love Cane Bay Academy!
Allie CallahanMar 10, 2025My son was in the infant room, and we had the best experience! Everyone we interacted with was always smiling, kind, and genuinely cared about my child. I would have loved to stay longer term, but we had a change with our commute and needed to move childcare. If anything changes in the future, we would definitely choose Cane Bay Academy again!
Mallory WolfeMar 30, 2024My 2 boys (ages 5 and 3) started attending CBA in the fall of 2021. I could not be more happy! I was nervous because they we in a transition for directors, but their new director Cathy reassured me on her plans to improve CBA. She has really gone above and beyond making a safe, happy, and purposeful school for my toddlers! And I'm confident my 5 yo is gaining the skills he will need to start K this fall!
Ashley CunninghamMay 16, 2022My son went to this school for about 8 months. First impression was the school is clean, lots of toys. My son was one of the few African American kids that where here. No lunches where provided for the kids. 220 a week and a $5 payment processing fee. $225 a week. I was referred due to the old director who was their. She was really good and had lots of experience. A new director came on and everything went down hill really fast. Calls every day about a 3 year old. Comes to pick him up he has on other peoples clothes , his clothes not coming back home, kids hitting him. Made the decision to just Pull him from the school. No credit was given he only went on a Monday and didn’t return and I was still charged 225. IF YOU HAVE A AFRICAN AMERICAN child please think twice before putting your child in this school.
Augelic RollersonMay 9, 2022My husband and I had a *very* bad experience with the first daycare we placed our now 7 month old in, so we were wary when trying to find another daycare. Getting a spot at CBA in the short time that we did was truly a blessing. We knew after the first day that it was the right fit for our daughter. The assistant director, Skylar, is beyond amazing. The teachers do a great job at communicating with us throughout the day and sticking to a schedule. All us parents can really ask for is a safe, positive, and loving environment for our children to be in during the day, and you will get that here.
autumn fieldsOct 23, 2021While I was living in Hawai’i pregnant with my son at the start of COVID crazy, CBA worked with my husband and me to make sure we had a spot for him after I moved to SC to be with my husband. My son has been attending CBA since he was 12 weeks old. I feel as though the staff/leadership has been responsive to the CDC demands yet mindful of the needs of the children. I have loved the teachers my son has had in the penguins class, horses class, and night owls class. My son adores Ms. Skylar, the assistant director, and it makes it so much easier for me to drop him off in the morning. Ms. Skylar is child focus, family friendly, and appears to lead her staff with positivity and proactive leadership. Any time I have needed anything, Skylar and my son’s teachers have been responsive. He has some medicinal needs. I wouldn’t be able to work effectively if I didn’t know/believe he was cared for and with his teachers and Ms. Skylar I know he is well taken care of. I am super picky, demand excellence, and want to ensure my son is safe and cared for while I am away from him. I feel strongly CBA meets my expectations 98% of the time. (It is early childhood care and turn over is sadly a reality until pay and hours can be better for those taking care of our children….yet as a parent I need it to be affordable as well)
