  • I’ve been sending my oldest (almost 4) to CKA in Hanahan since he was about 15 months old. As a mom, it’s a very stressful decision to leave your child with someone and trust that they will provide them with the best care but Coastal Kids Academy has continued to provide comfort in my decision. Their updates via an app throughout the day is a nice reassurance throughout the day that my little guy is happy and the knowledge that he has gained during his time with the CKA is incredible. We will be sending our youngest to Coastal around the same age because we trust the wonderful staff and look forward to extending our time with them.

  • We love Coastal Academy at Hanahan. Our son has been with them since he was an infant. All of the teachers care and make personal connections with the children and parents.

  • We love Coastal Hanahan! My son has attended for a couple years now and we really appreciate how attentive the staff and teachers are.

  • Our girl has been going to CKA for just about a year and we absolutely love the director, Ms. Cierra. When a concern is brought to her attention she handles it immediately. Ms. Brooke and Ms. Olivia in the toddler room are the best. ❤️ We can’t wait to continue to have Addie grow there.

  • This is no academy, the poor staff feels completely under paid, under appreciated, and unsupported. The facility is a joke a complete joke. They don’t care about COVID they don’t care if the teachers are sick. Oh and another thing there is favoritism when it comes down to the director and some teachers and parents.

  • They gave up on our 3.5 year old child after a month because he didn't conform to their standards. Don't expect much effort on their part to help your child fit in or build self confidence. They are quick to boot your kid if any effort on their part is needed to help them fit in. Biggest mistake we've made so far! Horrible communication on their part. Our kid got smiley faces for a week straight but we were told they were a different kind of smiley face because it was him. How can a child care giver give up on a 3.5 year old? Disgusting!
