  • Our daughter went here for almost a year. It started off great but little things kept happening. She came home from daycare everyday completely crusted and filthy. Being a toddler, I can understand this to an extent because kids get messy, but it also just showed a lack of care when she would have dried snot streaming from her nose. Our daughter never bit anyone until she got bit here. Then she started to bite, and the staff made it seem like it was our fault. It seemed like there wasn’t much being done in their end to keep an extra eye on her, knowing that had issues with this. The pediatrician agreed that this is all developmental. Then, they make us sign a “bite policy” that says she will be removed if she bites 12 times in two weeks. After signing this policy, she had two more instances of biting in a two week span, the owner called us come speak to them before picking up our daughter, and they asked us to leave after being given an ultimatum by the parent of the other child. She had not come close to breaking their policy, and yet we were asked to leave. All of this happened AFTER she had been left behind during an impromptu fire alarm… they forgot to evacuate her. We didn’t raise hell or sue them for that, because thankfully, it was not a true emergency, but then they turn around and asked us to leave after our child was neglected in a potentially dangerous situation. Once we found a new daycare, it was clear the teachers are not as attentive as they should be. Would not recommend you enroll your kids here. There is a reason they have a three star rating. - Jacob Stansell

  • My daughter goes here, she is in the infant room. We love it here. They are wonderful with her and I think she really likes being around all the other babies. They really do a great job at Excel.

  • Both of my kids have gone here for months. I understand that there were 2 bad eggs, but the problem was taken care of swiftly. You can't blame a place for the fault of 2 people. My kids teachers have been absolutely amazing.

  • Everyone is very loving and kind. I’ve seen more care for my child by their staff than a lot of the staff at public schools. They had some bad seeds but they took care of it and shouldn’t have their reputation run into the ground for it.

  • I have witnessed first hand how the Director and Assistant Director run Excel Academy. I have seen them love EVERY child that comes in their building like their own and the children love them. They take care of them, they work hard, and are very respectful. They work with their teachers and they expect them to do their best at their jobs. They have faith and love the Lord, that is a quality a lot more people in this world could use.

  • They tried to keep the news about the teachers abusing kids hushed for 2 weeks. Bad place for babies and kids. Bad management, bad employees.
