  • I’ve been taking my daughter here for a few years now since she was a baby. The staff is very friendly and they’ve taken great care of her. I’ve always had a peace of mind with them watching her while I’m at work.

  • Where do I start….we moved here about 9 months ago from Atlanta. Iva is a super small town compared to what we are used to. I have a 2 year old and was searching for a daycare close by and this place was the ONLY daycare in Iva and the building is connected to a church, which gave me a pretty good feeling about leaving my only child there. I thought for sure he would be in good hands. I was wrong on so many more levels than one. The supervisor/ director/ I have no idea what her title is, Marlena is her name and I was under the impression she was in charge of it all. Since we moved here everyone we have came in contact with has been super overly nice and welcoming and these ladies were super rude from the very first day. Lisa, a fill in for the so called “director” (Judy) was ugly from the start. She did not seem to actually want to do her job and enroll my child. I guess it was just too much paperwork for her mind to handle. Anyway, long story short my child was only there for a week when I was called into Marlena’s office so she could tell me how horrible my child was behaving by climbing and getting upset because he did not want to come in from recess. Need a remind you my son just turned 2! In that meeting she basically threatened me by telling me he would be expelled if he didn’t change. Well a month went by and low and behold I was called into her office again along with his “teacher” and another director of Im not sure what because I never saw her do anything at all besides push a button to unlock the door for drop offs and pick ups. Anyway, they told me that my son was no longer able to attend the school since he couldn’t talk, he climbed still and was not interacting with the other children. I have told so many about this and not 1 person has ever heard of such a horrible thing to do a innocent child. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS so called Church daycare unless your child is a robot. I have never had someone be so incredibly rude to me by speaking terrible about my super happy child. He may be a little behind but that was the whole point of me putting him in daycare and they totally failed him. There is no way shape or form should be able to speak to me in the matter that Marlena did. It is very unprofessional on so many levels. I honestly can’t fathom how a way older woman that is supposedly in charge can sleep at night after kicking a 2 year old out of her daycare for absolutely no reason other than being a toddler. It’s rather sad on her part.
