Journey 5:11 Academy

Where do I begin!!! We absolutely love Journey 5:11 Academy and can’t say enough good things about it! From the moment I called to inquire about my son attending to walking in on the very first day, we felt welcomed and at ease. The staff is not only professional and nurturing, but they also genuinely care about each and every child. My son has grown so much—socially, emotionally, and academically—thanks to the loving and supportive environment here. It truly feels like an extended family, and we are so thankful to be part of it. Every day my son comes home happy, full of stories, and excited to go back. As a parent, there’s no better feeling than knowing your child is in such good hands. Thank you for creating such a special place—we’re beyond grateful for everything you all do!

Journey 5:11 was a great experience for our two boys. They graduated out of the program, otherwise we would still be there. Vania and her staff are amazing! The children in the class were always engaged and happy. Pickup and drop-offs were easy as the boys loved going every day. Each day they learned something different. We are blessed to have found a school lead with such passion. What a great hidden gem in Rock Hill!

Journey 5:11 is more than a daycare or school, it is a family. As a parent, I entrust my daughter to them daily and am so grateful for the love, patience and guidance they provide each day. The learning structure and curriculum they use allows growth and development each day. From day one Vania & Mr. Love (the owners) have shown constant patience, kindness, love and understanding. Now at three years old, my girl comes home singing new songs, having learned new skills/abilities and chatting about the amazing adventures she'd had. All of this I attribute to the engaging and devoted teachers who shine under Vania's guidance and leadership. I am thankful each day for the positive and loving atmosphere they have created, and proud to be part of the Journey 5:11 family.

Journey 5:11 has been a good experience so far, we have our 3 children going here. I think they communicate well and look to be kind and nice about every situation. They seem to really love helping children thrive and be taught many things that can make a child well rounded. Our family experience so far has been great. Be objective in your search for daycare and understand no daycare is perfect, but do they show the desire to positively be impactful on your child's growth & education? Journey 5:11 is doing that.

Blown away at the excellence and quality of staff!! As a teacher myself, I can usually find a boat load of deficits about a program. Journey 5:11 has really exceeded my expectations in every department! From the energy in the building, to the staff’s dedication I was and still am very impressed. Although some children attend for daycare, Journey 5:11 is a Christian preschool with a Montessori approach. They have really perfected the communication with families through an app. The app is a direct way to chat with staff and the response time is super fast. I am sent pictures of my daughter throughout the day allowing me to have a bird’s eye view of her day (perfect for conversation starters). Journey 5:11 has really created the culture that mostly schools strive to create. I would never had thought that this school would check every box on my very extensive checklist, including the use of toxic free cleaning products!
