Kids 'R' Kids of Mount Pleasant

One of my biggest fears as a mother was the thought of sending my children off to school while mommy went back to work. Kids 'R' Kids made this fear nonexistent in my life when my daughter started there back in October of 2020. Everyday we dropped her off knowing that she was in the absolute best care. Now in 2024, we still drop her off, along with our son, and we continue to know that our children are in the absolute best hands. From the amazing Chef on site, to the Directors, to the teachers and assistants, this Learning Academy is the absolute best. I am able to go to work, knowing that my children are SAFE, loved, learning and most importantly happy. The smiles on their faces when they see their teachers shows just how much they are loved and how much they love their days there. I am forever grateful for this institution. Don't think twice on looking somewhere else, this is the best one :)

This is one of the best daycares available in the Mt Pleasant area. Its like a small school! Its well maintained, great teachers who care, and the leadership is wonderful. You definitely get what you pay for when it comes to childcare. Even after school care!!! Wow!

Parents should be aware of what is going on in the school. Kids R Kids had 6 employees have quit in the last month. The owners either don’t know what is going on inside the school or don’t care. There was an incident where a teacher’s vape pen fell out of her pocket in the infant’s classroom. The teacher is still employed. The director Lacy, shows favoritism among the employees. The management staff does not communicate with their employees and doesn’t give parents the complete and accurate information. My child comes home everyday and claims that their teacher yells at them all the time. When a place has a high turnover rate it usually means that there is something going on internally. Several teachers that have left Kids R Kids have reached out to parents and made them aware of what’s been going on. Maybe it’s time we find out what’s really going on inside that school. It’s very sad and unfortunate.

We put our son in this program at the start of the school year, and I have been BLOWN away with how wonderful the staff and leadership have been! Miss Jen is a phenomenal teacher and I have no doubt my son will be successful next year in kindergarten due to her efforts!

We love kids r kids- we recently moved here 6 weeks ago to be close to our daughters DR. at MUSC- she recently recovered from influenza that quickly turned into meningitis and put her in a coma and was hospitalized for 5 months. After waking up from her coma she had to go through intensive therapy to learn how to walk, talk and function again. This illness has caused a lot of hardships on her and our family. The kids r kids leaders/teachers have been so kind and heart warming- helping us get through this hard time and working so closely with our daughter to ensure she grows up to be a strong normal little girl. They meet us with and talk to us daily. It’s been nothing but a pleasure knowing they care so much for the health and happiness of our little girl and what’s she has been through. We could not be happier!
