We absolutely love this daycare! It came highly recommended by several friends and coworkers. Both of our boys, 2 years old and 4 months old, attend and the 2 year old loves his teachers so much. I am assuming these bad reviews regarding central air issues in the infant room are outdated because this has never been an issue in the infant room for us. The staff all know our boys names even if they aren’t their direct teachers and they truly care for each child. Could not recommend this daycare enough.
Noelle NataleFeb 17, 2026Our daughter was in the infant room and now the toddler room and LOVES it! We love the staff, her teachers are amazing and so loving, and she is learning new things daily. We couldn’t ask for a better daycare. Communication is wonderful with families and everyone is very friendly!
Jessica SwaimJun 13, 2022This is a hard facility to place your children at. Not only is the admission absolutely ridiculous… the conditions and which the preschool teachers work is absolutely saddening. In the infant room I’ve been told on several occasions that there is no central air. It is a well-known fact infant do not fare well with extremely hot conditions and they only have a fan to cool them. For facility to be in business since 1978 there has been zero upgrades to this building or any of the other building. I should not be picking up my child from the facility and it be hotter than it is outside. We live by the beach for God sakes. And the weekly tution is too much for there not to be conditions in the classrooms.
The KnightsJun 1, 2022Loving and Learning on James Island is absolutely wonderful. I truly cannot say enough about the staff and the programs they have. My child was in the young two’s and she just LOVED it.
Alexandria DiminichFeb 15, 2021My child loves going to school here, he is currently 2 years old. The staff is incredible, especially in the nursery and young 2s. I would highly recommend Loving and Learning if you are looking for a place that truly cares about your children.
