Wonderful pre-school program!
Jessica DorrJun 6, 2023THIS SCHOOL IS NOT ADA COMPLIANT. If your child is special needs of any kind DO NOT enroll them here! My son started here at 6 months old and went here until he was 4. At 18 months old he was diagnosed with mild autism. The first incident we had was in the 3 year old class where they tried to say he could not go on a field trip because he is clumsy and needed extra attention that they could not preform. I swiftly brought up the ADA and they back pedaled so fast that they “found” an extra teacher to help watch him on the field trip. Now at 4 years old he has issues with transitions. If he is abruptly told to change what he’s doing he gets mad. Not a big issue. All he needs is to be talked to like an adult and explained to why we’re transitioning. When I told that to the head of the school, her response was “we can’t give him the extra attention he needs.” Now mind you his autism is MILD. They do not have the staff to support the amount of children they carry and are not properly trained for even mild special needs. If your child cannot conform they will unenroll them. Because of this they told us that he needs to find a new school. I have filed a complaint with the attorney general against this school for violating the Americans with disabilities act.
