  • I found this place via google reviews when looking for a new preschool, and am so glad I did. From day one, after talking with Ms. Williams and meeting their staff, I was sold. I love that the directors, Ms. Williams and Ms. “Nee Nee” are clearly invested and pour their heart and soul into this school. They make a point to be involved and know all of the children and parents, and show they care. The teachers and assistants definitely have their hands full but are also invested and love their students. My daughter was nervous to be moving to a new school when she started but quickly adjusted and was excited to go to school every day. She loves her teacher, Ms. Chavonte so much that she regularly asks if she can bring her coffee if I am going to a coffee shop (and still regularly asks how her previous teacher, Ms. Shy is doing). I could go on for days but don’t know that anyone will read a full novel of a review but we love MLP!! My daughter is headed to Kindergarten in the fall but we fully plan on continuing to be involved with the MLP community and events when opportunities arise.

  • I can not say enough great things about this school. We enrolled my son in September ish of 2025 through First Steps and now its the end of May 2026 and he doesn't want to leave. Everyday he comes home excited to tell us what he's learned, how much he loves his teachers and friends, and everything about the day. The program itself is run impeccably. Everyone is extremely responsive, always ready to answer and text/phone call/email. The communication is top tier with everything they do. I am very sad to have my son graduate out of their care and go to Kindergarten. However I know they have put the stepping stones in place for him to have success in the coming year. 10/10 reccomend this program.

  • We moved to Lexington from NY in the summer of 2025 and were unaware at the limitations of 4k in public schools so we found ourselves looking for a daycare for our 4 year old. She has been in public school 3K in NY so we were looking for more of an educational center than a daycare. After visiting 8 centers & at our wits end, we came across Midlands Primary. We visited, not having high hopes at all, but ended up being very pleasantly surprised. The center was still active mid-July and the learning that takes place was very obvious. We enrolled our daughter to start in August. By September, she was writing her name and identifying more letters than she learned for a year in NYC Public Schools. It is now March and our daughter has learned so much this year between identifying letters, numbers, and doing basic math. MPLC has really helped prepare her for Kindergarten. They have been transparent, supportive, and so kind & giving to our daughter. We are also enrolling our 3 year old to start with them next school year. MPLC is a hidden gem and we are so happy we found them to provide the foundational skills our children need as they begin their educational journey. Thank you MPLC 🥰

  • Midlands Primary Learning Center has been one of the best choices my wife and I made for our family. Our three daughters have all gone through their program and the last of them just graduated. I can't put words just how much every member of the Midlands Primary Learning Center team means to us. The directors and staff's communication are stellar. We were always updated with the kids progress in class and upcoming events well in advance. Any issues with the kid's behaviors were communicated discreetly, but professional and direct. It's been great seeing our kids excited to learn and happy to go spend time with the staff. They treat the little ones with so much love and respect, and it shows in the way the kids respond to them. I genuinely admire everyone at Midlands Primary Learning Center, and I appreciate them for everything they've done.

  • I cannot say enough good things about Midlands Primary. They have cared for all three of my girls over the years, and every single experience has been a true blessing to our family. From the very beginning, they’ve provided not only a safe and nurturing environment, but also one filled with love, patience, and genuine care. The staff is exceptional—professional, attentive, and deeply committed to the well-being and development of every child. They took the time to get to know each of my children as individuals, meeting their unique needs and helping them grow emotionally, socially, and academically. What has meant the most to me is the peace of mind I’ve had knowing my kids were in such capable and caring hands. They’ve celebrated milestones with us, supported us through transitions, and treated our children like family. If you’re looking for a place where your child will be cared for, loved, and supported every step of the way, this is it. We are forever grateful for the positive impact they’ve had on our lives. Thank you for being such an incredible part of our journey.

  • I can’t say enough good things about MPLC. They’ve guided, not just one but 2 of my kiddos through 3k and 4k and it’s been such a good experience. After my first child finished 4k through them and went to kindergarten, the teacher talked so highly about how advanced he was in comparison to the other students! And now, my youngest son just finished 4k through them and will be staring kindergarten next week. I have zero complaints - the experience was amazing and they truly love your kids like they’re their own. They encourage them to be as independent as possible, to try to foods, and to be good friends all while offering one of the best learning experiences. The teachers and admins are both wonderful and they’ve truly become a part of the family! ❤️
