My House Day Care

My family has been part of MyHouse Daycare for seven years. Three of our children have attended—two have graduated and one was still enrolled. During that time we supported the center through high staff turnover, understaffing, leadership changes, and tuition increases, and we often recommended them to other families. Our child attended for 4½ years with very little negative feedback. In fact, just a month before the situation below, the owner personally told me how well my son behaved. However, after a new teacher was hired, everything changed. Within three weeks my wife and I were called to the school eight times for behavior issues, and our son suddenly became labeled as a problem. He also began saying he didn’t want to attend anymore. We asked leadership for a meeting and what they called an “honest conversation.” I even had my son apologize to the teacher at drop-off. When I respectfully asked why a child who had been successful there for years suddenly became an issue after her arrival, the conversation was not received well. Shortly after, the owner asked our family to leave. It was disappointing to see a seven-year relationship dismissed without any real investigation or discussion with leadership. Families should know that the love and care MyHouse promotes may not always be reflected when situations become difficult.

Love our daycare. My daughter has been going since she was 3 months old. The teachers are not just kind, they are loving.

Both of my children have gone to this day care. One is now in 4th grade and the other is still attending and is in the 3k room there. We LOVE the teachers. After 9 years of coming here it just feels like another home. The pandemic was hard, but they took great care of my baby during the craziness of it all so I could continue working. I've never worried about my children when I drop them off at school, and they have both reached potentials they never would have had they been stay at home children until Kindergarten. Love My House!

I love My House Daycare. My daughter amazes me daily with what she’s learned, even at her very young age! The teachers are so sweet and treat my daughter like she’s their own child. The most important thing for me when we were looking for a daycare was security. We toured 5 daycares in the area and My House was by far the most secure. It’s not easy leaving your only child with complete strangers the first time but I don’t even have to worry about her when she’s there.

As a first time mom and having a baby in the middle of a pandemic, I cannot say enough good things about My House Daycare. My husband and I both work full time, and the thought of sending our child out to strangers during such stressful times, was gut wrenching. 7 months later, I can say without a doubt, it has been the best decision for us. My House is not just a daycare, they are family. I never worry about my baby because I know he is in the best possible hands and is so loved and cherished just as if he were home with me. He has also met and surpassed all his milestones so far because the teachers spend time each day working on new things. We really lucked out getting a spot at My House!
