We love Prodigy. Our daughter started there at 4 months. The facility is always well kept and clean and the staff all friendly. The director’s number one rule is relationships and she is always responsive. The results show all around. A big shout out to Sharmin and Wanda in the infants room. You can tell they enjoy what they do.
Mara WoolvertonJun 1, 2025I would not recommend this preschool to any parent. The management and director are extremely unprofessional and clearly unqualified to be leading any childcare facility. The way this place is run is chaotic and disorganized, and it directly impacts the children in a negative way. My child was constantly moved from classroom to classroom with no consistency or routine, which created unnecessary stress and confusion. There was never enough staff, and it showed—overcrowded rooms, overwhelmed teachers, and children not getting the attention they need. The classrooms are too small for the number of kids enrolled, and the so-called “Montessori” program is nothing more than a label. You’re charged extra for something that’s completely absent in practice. There’s no real Montessori approach in how the children are taught or cared for. The cafeteria setup was unacceptable. There wasn’t even enough room for the kids to sit properly—tables were overcrowded, and children were rushed through their meals with barely enough space to eat comfortably. This school is not what it presents itself to be. If you’re looking for a structured, supportive, and professionally run environment for your child, I suggest looking elsewhere.
DianaApr 11, 2025We followed Mrs. Andrea and her team to Prodigy after having an excellent experience with them at my child’s previous daycare. We have been with them since December 2022. My child started daycare at 18 months and it was a rough transition, but Mrs. Andrea made sure it went smoothly. As a working mother, it can be very difficult to trust someone with your child all day. They made the experience so wonderful and I have completely instilled my trust in her and her team! A few months ago, we found out Mrs. Andrea would be leaving for a different opportunity so I immediately reached out to see if she was moving to another childcare facility. Once I found out about Prodigy, we immediately scheduled a tour. After touring the impressive school, we knew what we had to do. We could either leave our child at his current daycare that is familiar to him or follow the team that made his experience the best one possible. Following the administrators who made our daycare experience so wonderful was a no brainer and we knew our child would be starting as soon as the school opened, because it’s not about the place it’s about the people. Mrs. Andrea, Mr. Jacob and Ms. Erica are such an incredible team and have felt like family for a long time now. They are all very professional and treat each child with respect and kindness. Each one has something different to offer the team and together they make it work wonderfully! These people truly put their hearts into their work. Which is so important when they are actively shaping young minds. The facility itself is very impressive and offers so many different learning environments for the children. I was slightly concerned about the curriculum for my three year old, but he has thrived! He loves going to see the “owl” each day! I think he enjoys being active throughout the day and moving to different classrooms. This is such a great experience for these children! They are offered an environment for creative learning and developing new skill sets. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Prodigy!
Taylor McCormickJul 7, 2024My son started Prodigy on the first day of it opening and I cannot say enough good things about this school. It has been absolutely amazing and he actually likes going to school. At our previous day care he fought us everyday at drop off and it has been a complete turn around. He loves going and he is learning so much. I love the curriculum they teach and the activities they have for the kids. I highly recommend Prodigy and the Director, Ms. Andrea is amazing. She's so attentive and says hello as we enter the facility each day. The communication is awesome and we always know what's going on. Highly Recommend!
Allison SorrensonJun 7, 2024I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about Prodigy at Berkeley, and it's all due to the administrative staff, teachers, and school concept. Ms. Andrea, the director, is incredibly communicative, and it is easy to see that her heart is truly with the kids. We've been with her and her team at multiple locations where it has been very apparent the kids' best interest is number one priority! Every teacher you can tell has been hand-picked for their role and they contribute so much to the positive environment. The kids move throughout the facility during the day, so they're not stuck in one classroom/playground all day, and they have a wonderful curriculum catered to learning real life skills. We love it, my son loves it, we love that our son loves it :) and are so happy to grow here!
