As any new mom choosing a place for their child to go. I was so skeptical and scared just leaving her with anyone. However, after getting our babe in The Children’s Center I have loved every minute of it. She of course is in the infant class, but they have so many activities that they allow the babies join in their own way! Not only do they have so many fun activities/crafts I don’t have to worry about leaving my child with her teacher Ms. Dana. She truly loves going to daycare and reaches out to Ms. Dana when we get there in the morning and giggles and smiles at her when we leave. Seeing the joy on my child’s face when she sees her puts my mind at ease of having to leave her during the day! I truly don’t have anything bad to say about this establishment and am so happy we get to go there!

We have enjoyed it so much we have brought our toddler over to attend. What they are learning and the updates we get on the kids makes me feel comfortable with them attending.

The teachers, staff, and board members are invested in providing a loving, caring, and nurturing environment for the children. The children are engaged in enriching and educational experiences that promote growth. The Children's Center provides an affordable option for parents needing childcare.

Working families who live and/or work on Hilton Head Island should know about this great choice for childcare and preschool needs. The Center has existed for decades as a safe, affordable, quality place for working parents and their children ages 6 weeks through preschool. Tuition is on a sliding scale based on household income, it is open year-round, 11 hours a day, and provides meals and snacks. I have volunteered here for several years and see amazing, happy faces every time I walk through the doors.

Its mission is to provide high quality day care and early childhood education to the children of area working families. The staff is professional and caring, and the Center's facility near Jarvis Creek Park provides a safe, affordable and nurturing environment for nearly 200 children from six months to eight years of age. Check it out and see what they have to offer. You will be impressed!
