I can’t say enough good things about this school. My daughter has attended since she was 6 and now at 12 she’s getting ready to transition since MSC ends at 6th grade. The experiences and support she’s received here have helped shape her into such a well rounded student. So many of her accomplishments are thanks to the foundation this school has given her.
Ally JayeMar 9, 2026A wonderful school and community that truly focuses on the whole child. Our child has absolutely thrived here and we love the emphasis the school places on exposing students to global perspectives and a diversity of experiences. A calm, nurturing, supportive environment for all stages of development. We love MSC and couldn’t recommend it enough!
Nina Hyvarinen JonesFeb 20, 2026Our child went to this school for 6 years and we’ve never felt more supported by such kind and capable staff. Our child absolutely blossomed at this school. We left for one year to try a public Montessori but came right back, deciding the financial investment was worth it as our child was nowhere near as motivated, encouraged, or supported in the other school. The office staff, admissions staff, teachers, support staff, and head of school are all incredible and they take feedback to heart. We are eternally grateful for this school and the contributions they made to help make the fine young man our child is becoming. MSC greatly contributed to his emotional growth, self-motivation and self-esteem. I love the community and respect that the students and teachers have for one another. Also, let’s just say our family is non-traditional. MSC accepted us and supported us with open arms which reflects their values in every way. Thank you Montessori School of Columbia!
Emma MFeb 20, 2026Our family absolutely loves Montessori School of Columbia. Our oldest daughter has been there since 3K and is now in 3rd grade, and watching her grow into a confident, independent learner has been incredible. Now our youngest has started in 3K, and we couldn’t be happier knowing she’s beginning her journey in the same nurturing, engaging environment. The teachers truly know and care about each child, and the sense of community is something special. We’re so grateful to be part of this school family.
Chanda BookerFeb 8, 2026My kids have attended MSC for 6 years. I appreciate how the teachers teach the whole child. They are not only concerned with their education but also with their well being. My kids are known not just by name but personally. My son had a medical emergency and afterwards they did everything in their power to ensure he felt safe and cared for. Academically they challenge the kids to reach beyond what is expected. They create an environment that makes my kids excited about learning and are happy to go to school everyday.
Conetta GFeb 7, 2026Our child went to MSC for preschool and returned for grades 3-6. He was profoundly impacted by his education there, especially in terms of social and emotional growth. MSC nurtured his creativity and curiosity and he was surrounded by teachers and fellow students who are kind, empathetic, thoughtful, supportive and focused.
