At first the daycare was ok but I realized she was just money hungry the daycare would be closed multiple times(not holidays)and you would still have to pay which is ridiculous. Also the cut off time is 8:30 because the hours changed which means you have 30mins to arrive at the daycare due to it opening at 8. Your kid would be soaked at pickup time and always sick DONT GO HERE!!!
Maddie JonesOct 21, 2025As a parent who works from home on a tight budget, finding affordable, quality childcare that aligns with our family’s values was a major priority — and this daycare has truly been a blessing in every way. From the start, the staff was incredibly understanding and supportive of our financial situation. Mrs. Washington worked with us on payment plans and even guided us through local assistance programs that helped make the cost manageable. It’s clear they care more about the well-being of the children and families than just business. If you're looking for a daycare that’s not only affordable but also faith-based and nurturing, I wholeheartedly recommend The Reading Rainbow Academy. It’s been a gift to our family!
Britney MitchellJul 8, 2025Owner makes up rules as she goes. I took my children out in less than two months. One morning she instructed the teachers to not let my children in after I let teachers know that traffic was bad and I wouldn’t be able to drop off until 8:15 AM. Imagine having your child knock on the door and visibly see their teacher ignore them. I walked away and never came back. Nothing about that is “Godly”, especially as a “first lady”. The only positives is that my children weren’t visibly harmed. But be careful.
La'Kenya AldrichFeb 2, 2025My son loves going to school here. It is honestly the only thing to get him up in the morning. I love how he says good bye to his friends by NAME. Even when school is closed he ask to attend and gets upset not understanding that school is closed for the day. I look forward to enrolling him into the 4k program and look forward to his growth her. Ms. Megan, Mrs. Q and Mr. Isaiah have been very helpful and patient with our transition into school life. Thank you guys for giving him his good first impression of school life.
AshleyJan 13, 2025My daughter has attended The Reading Rainbow for a long time and we are very pleased with this school. Teachers are caring and she always talks about them, which is a great sign for me as a parent. She is also more than happy to go to school in the morning. Thank you RR for all that you do!!
Aimee BrownOct 29, 2024Let’s begin by saying that this Academy is a Christian based facility. The owner is a Woman of God who prays over each and every one of our kids daily, as well as the parents. She has amazing resources and works with the children and I am speaking from experience. My son is a handful and has behavioral issues that her and her staff are being patient with and making sure we receive the help needed. Not only are the resources for the children but also for parents cause as a parent it can also be frustrating for us when we don’t know why a child is behaving a certain way. So instead of sending my child away she decided to help. I can literally say that we are a team and a family never have I ever been to any other facility that felt like family it takes a village and they are included in the village. I thank God everyday for this facility and especially the woman of God that he allowed to be over the business. I am grateful, so if anyone is looking for an Academy that prays over you and your children, provides resources and makes you feel like family. Please call and schedule a walk through and get your child in. I promise you will not regret at all! Stay Blessed!
