  • I’ll leave a more lengthy review once my son leaves going into more detail. This is probably the worst school I have ever come across. It’s 100% because the admin team is under qualified and undereducated for their roles. This was our first experience with a Montessori in SC and me & my family are highly disappointed. Bad attitudes, disorganization, money hungry owner, detached director, unmotivated assistant director. Such sweet kids there & they deserve better. Also no montessori work or values are being taught in class. It’s a below the bare minimum establishment. I also left due to some ethical reasons. & Let’s not forget the owner Lisa touched my black sons hair without my consent.. I would give 0 stars if I could. There is so much room for improvement. I really did try & give the school a chance because the location was convenient.

  • There are worse schools and there are better schools. We did not have a good experience and left after two months. My toddler was unhappy and stressed there, did not like his main teacher, and would complain about her yelling and another child hitting him. When I brought that up to the teacher she said that she was not aware of him having been hit and that he should tell her if someone hits him. The last time I brought my child in I saw the boy pick on him and the teacher was not paying attention. And I myself have heard the teacher raising her voice on a couple of occasions. When we left, no one seemed to care. There was a conversation about him finishing off his last few weeks in a different classroom which went unanswered. We had previously experienced a preschool with admin and teachers that were warm and personable and took an interest in each student individually, but switched due to scheduling needs. This school was not like that. He learned, but this was not a warm, caring environment towards the students or parents, so we’re putting him back in his old preschool. To be fair, I did like Ms. Margo in admin and my child’s favorite teacher was Ms. Lana who is the enrichment teacher.

  • My daughter started at VMPS when she was just 7 weeks old, and I couldn't be happier with our experience. The facility is always secure and clean, and the teachers are friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring about my daughter's wellbeing and development. They do an excellent job of sharing updates throughout the day using the Procare app. Whether it's a bottle, nap, or diaper change, I always know what's happening, which helps me maintain her routine at home. The Montessori approach was a top priority for me when choosing a day care, and it’s clear that VMPS embraces the philosophy wholeheartedly. My daughter is thriving in an environment that supports her growth and independence. Knowing my child is in a place where she is not only safe but also supported and embraced makes all the difference. I’m so grateful to the team at Village Montessori for their care and dedication!

  • Amazing experience! My child has been attending VMPS for over six months now and has progressed to two different classrooms with different teachers. We’ve experienced a wonderful level of care, kindness and great communication with each of the teachers in the different classrooms. The teachers and staff at VMPS truly foster a nurturing and educational environment. The classrooms are clean spacious, play areas are safe and fun, and the activities and enrichment classes are truly insightful. My family and I feel couldn’t be happier to have been referred to VMPS!

  • Our family has really enjoyed our time at Village Montessori. We began attending with our middle daughter who started at age 3 and is now excelling in 1st grade, and we have just enrolled our newborn son. I feel very comfortable there and confident that my children are well cared for and loved. We have found staff to be friendly and attentive, while the facility is clean and safe. We have loved all of our teachers, but especially Ms. Janna, Ms. Noemi, Ms. Grace and “Nana”. After attending several other local childcare facilities with our eldest son, we are so happy to have found outstanding care at VM!

  • We have loved absolutely everything about VMPS! We have two children there in their Transitional Kindergarten and preschool/toddler classrooms. They’re learning so much every day with love and compassion from the teachers. Not just great academically but also from an emotional and social perspective too. Also very excited for their brand new outside spaces! They look wonderful in addition to the indoor space for kids to play and just be kids.
