We could not be more grateful for the incredible experience our child has had at Aberdeen Montessori School. Under the thoughtful and expert leadership of Susan and her dedicated team, this school has become far more than just a place of early education — it’s a nurturing, inspiring, and deeply enriching community. From the very first day, it was clear that Susan and her staff are not only highly trained Montessori educators but also genuinely passionate about each child’s growth and well-being. Their ability to meet every child where they are — emotionally, socially, and academically — is truly remarkable. The environment they’ve created is one where children feel safe, respected, and excited to learn. The classrooms are beautifully prepared, encouraging independence, curiosity, and a love of learning. We've seen such growth in our child’s confidence, problem-solving, empathy, and communication skills — all of which we directly attribute to the thoughtful Montessori approach championed by Susan and her team. What truly sets Aberdeen Montessori apart is the warmth and attentiveness of the staff. Susan leads with a calm, compassionate, and wise presence, and it radiates through the entire school. B HSep 15, 2025This was my four year old nephew’s first school and introduction to an education system. This is where he’s made his first friends, had his first teacher, and has learned so much in regards to structure and how the world works outside of his own home. He’s learned so much more than he would in a normal public school and has flourished just from the small amount of time that he’s been there. He gets to do fun activities that he enjoys and that teaches him things most four/five year olds wouldn’t be learning. He’s loved learning about the ecosystem, plants, how to care for animals. He’s learned to swim, and of course normal academics for a kid his age. Being able to have a safe environment surrounded by people who truly care about him has made such a difference on his outlook of learning. He couldn’t have had a better first school.

Since attending he has absolutely THRIVED from the education, love, and support he has received there. Mrs Susan, her staff, and her family are truly amazing and some of the best souls we have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

After moving from out of state, finding the right school for our child was one of our biggest concerns—but discovering this school quickly became one of the very best parts of relocating to Aberdeen. The level of care, dedication, and intentionality the staff brings to each student is nothing short of remarkable. The Montessori method has truly allowed our child to thrive—academically, emotionally, and socially. It’s incredible to see how confident, curious, and capable they’ve become in such a short time. As a parent, it brings tremendous peace of mind to know my child is not only safe and well cared for, but genuinely happy and excited to go to school each day. This is the safest, most nurturing environment in all of Aberdeen to send your children! We’re beyond grateful for the loving atmosphere, passionate educators, and thoughtful approach this school offers. It’s not just a school—it’s a community, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly.
