PRECIOUS ANGELS LEARNING CENTER

When Apple Tree North closed down, we were in a panic trying to find not one but THREE open spots for all our kiddos. We ended up at a daycare close to our home, but our youngest was STRUGGLING - constantly getting in trouble, mirroring bad behaviors she was seeing at daycare... After a few weeks at Precious Angels, she is a different kid. It feels like she finally has caregivers that CARE about her again (like at Apple Tree) I’m so incredibly thankful that we were able to switch daycares.  It’s a longer commute, but 100% worth it. And it’s no surprise that Precious Angels has Apple Tree vibes – many employees from Apple Tree now work at Precious Angels, including the director (love her!) They’re doing a great job of prepping our kiddos for school and have a good variety of activities. Our middle child recently dissected owl pellets! Like what?? That’s awesome! What daycare does that?? When I pick up our kids now, they go “aw man… but I wasn’t finished….”  Instead of running out the door. Precious Angels is fantastic – we highly recommend!

This was the first daycare I had my either of my children in that I was not working in the same building. My daughter absolutely thrived there. They encouraged her to be her and held her accountable when needed. They never dimmed her flame, just contained it. She never left without stopping in the office to say hi to Lori and Anita. She loved her teachers (I was constantly getting called her teachers names instead of mom). They all made an incredible impact on her and she was so sad for her last day. Few tears from all. 10/10 recommend this place.

We moved our daughter to Precious Angels at age 3 after Apple Tree North closed (😭). We were so lucky to get her in to this amazing daycare, and chose it out of several others despite it being quite out of the way and adding about two hours of driving a day for us. The very first day, she reached her arms out for the new teacher and snuggled right in. She referred to it as her "new daycare" for months. While she missed AT, she quickly made new friends and learned the new routines at Precious Angels. The staff are great about updating the app, Daily Connect, throughout the day with meals, naps, bathroom updates, needed supplies, and PICTURES! She is always excited for drop off and happy when we pick her up. Another great thing we have appreciated, is when she is in an asthma flare, they are sure to give her the needed inhaler as instructed. With her going to preschool we are sad to be leaving. We could not recommend a better place for anyone looking for childcare infant through age 4-5. 10/10.

Would not recommend this daycare! High rate of staff turnover. Stable leadership is lacking. If you decide to change to a different daycare and give them notice, they drop you immediately leaving you with no daycare. They no respect for the parents or the children. Avoid this daycare!

My family had the most wonderful experience at Precious Angels ! We were only in Sioux Falls for a short time, but I made some lifelong friends at Precious Angels. The owner and her family are the absolute sweetest and go above and beyond with their care and ensuring that the staff are happy. The owner does a wonderful job balancing all the things and I was so impressed with the level of care that my children received. The rooms are fun and engaging and they do So many fun activities/crafts!
