Brandy KirkApr 8, 2026I’ve always respected the mission of the Boys & Girls Club, which is centered on helping young people become productive, caring, and responsible citizens. Unfortunately, my recent interaction with Mignonne Coykendall (VICE PRESIDENT) did not reflect those values. Recently, an unhappy Mignonne, was offered reconciliation which she did not accept (on more than one occasion working with her). There was no grace given, no kindness, no understanding or humility. She stated her goal was to "blast us for our mistake made" instead of working out the best solution. I think that leadership in a 501 should not be interacting in the real world in a way that does not reflect the goal of the organization or what they intend to impress upon the youth. It would be the least to say that it was disappointing to find that she is supposed to be an upstanding citizen in the community. I expected to find a much different type of person upon my research after my very short interaction with Mrs. Coykendall. I hope the board finds merit in this review and is welcome to contact me anytime for details regarding her malicious behavior.
