Both of my children went to this childcare facility (6 years apart), and I would recommend Mrs. Marvelene to anyone. She provides structure and routine that young children need while also allowing them to explore and be kids. Both of my children developed important social skills and basic literacy skills that helped them be beyond prepared for pre-k in the public school system. My children (now 12 and 6) still talk about times at Mrs. Marvelene’s- you will not be disappointed!

We were always excited to hear about the fun daily activities provided, and we knew it was a safe, secure environment. Our child is an adult now and has many fond memories of her childhood there.
Susan DaySep 30, 2025Marvalene is wonderful with the kids and I love how hands on she is with each and every kiddo. My boy has learned so much being there in the last year and it shows! She reads to them daily and even helps with potty training. Highly recommend.
Rebecca TaylorSep 29, 2025I’ve known Helen for years, and I am always so impressed with the environment she’s created in her daycare. It’s such a warm, positive space filled with hands-on activities that make learning fun for little ones. She has a wonderful early literacy program that truly gives kids a head start. On top of that, she’s incredibly knowledgeable about all the things parents worry about—sleep training, potty training, routines—you name it. She has such a gift for working with children and helping them thrive, and it really shows in the way the kids in her care grow and flourish. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to send my daughter here. Families are really lucky to have someone like her in their corner.

Mrs. Marvelene has a truly loving and caring approach with the children, and she does an excellent job of balancing that with a clear, positive structure. She truly believes in letting kids be kids, with plenty of hands-on activities and time to explore outside. Our son also learned so much about independence and self-help skills. We are so grateful for the wonderful foundation she provided for him.

She created a structured, nurturing, and positive environment where learning, rules, and guidance were always a priority. Her genuine love for the children showed in everything she did, and my son absolutely adored her (still does today). The structure and consistency she offered helped him grow and excel in so many ways. I would recommend her a hundred times over to any family looking for someone who truly goes above and beyond in child care. ❤️
