Matthew TurnerApr 18, 2018I highly recommend Christ Our Savior Academy. The staff are well-educated, enthusiastic, dedicated, kind and patient. The number of different learning activities and the depth of preparation that the staff puts into the school day is amazing. The classrooms are bright, clean, and well stocked with educational materials and toys. Christ Our Savior Academy is a wonderful, Christian environment for preschoolers.
Sara KueckApr 17, 2018My son went to this school a total of 4 days...today being the 4th day. Everyday that I picked my son up I was told that he had a good day. During the 1st week I observed a male student playing wearing a dress and then he changed into another dress, which Im sure is just a part of growing...however today when I dropped off my son I just privately told the asst teacher that I preferred if my son wasnt allowed to play pretend in any dresses. She assured me that he hasnt attempted to play in any of the dresses. I felt better knowing that. However today when I picked my son up the director had nothing but bad things to say about my son. He all of a sudden is punching and hitting students since he has started, he refuses to follow any directions, he has a potty issue...yet he has only been there 4 days and had an accident today only. He jas communication issues, he hits and kicks staff members, he pretends all of the toys are guns and play shoots the other children, the other children are now fearful of him. I simply told the director she is full of $h!t. My son has previously attended a preschool fulltime in Fayetteville, GA 5 days 8:00 to 2:30...never had one potty issue..never hit any of his friends..never hit any staff..never ran out of classroom..never did any of the all negative things that this woman stated he did. Left me to feel she was taking things out on my son because of the comment I made to the asst teacher about not allowing my son to play in dresses..she then stated she knew nothing of it..yea right! My thought is if my son had been acting out in this manner since he started why today after my comment did he all the issues of behaviour come up..telling me he isnt ready for a preschool...I told her that was pure bs as he has already been in one..then she says they are understaffed with 21 kids and 2 teachers. Well correct that issue before you try assessing my child. Heck its been 4 days and already you know my boy like a book..sounds very stupid because it is. Why take on that many students of you cant handle it. Further more why not give a parent a real assessment of their childs day if any problems arises. The lady is lying..I just spoke with my sons teachers from his other school and each said they were very surprised by any of that. So my other issue is..how can a woman say she is a professional yet starts and finishes the topic on negatives..I have been a professional for a long time in HR and Customer Service and I will tell you...I was always trained to never start or finish with negative. So now she is offended because I told her she was full of ish..so now he cant return because I cursed..had she been professional or had she not tried to tear my 3 year old down she would have received a better response. So she only got what she put out there. I hold no punches when it comes to my children. She says its normal for lil boys to dress up in dresses...I say its nothing normal about that and its not to say anything to the behavior of the child but its the responsibility of adults to redirect. I then told her that I would find a school where there was a few more children that look like my son, being he is the only AA child in the class..she then said there was other AA children on the Mon Wed school days. I wonder!!! I just find it disturbing that all of this is now coming up today! I pay for him to be taught, not have his self esteem ruined behind some lil girl in a position of authority. How can you even expect a child to know the routine after 3 days with him. Its more to this then meets the eye..then when I told her of all the negatives she spoke on not once saying anything positive..this lil jerk then says...he is a very sweet lil boy, always gives lots of hugs..lol..okay lady..yet you just described him as a tyrant in the school..its plenty of preschools in the area...and I will find him one that knows how to educate and discipline in a manner appreciated by myself and my husband. We have no issue paying and therefore its best that my boy doesnt return. I now have a bad taste in my mouth about school!
