Creative Minds Childcare II

This is a great place to take your children. My daughter has been attending since she was 1 year old; she is now 4 years old. The owner is very understanding and down to earth. The staff keep the facility clean, and my daughter knows how to write her name and even read short words. This proves that the kids are learning, not just playing. I love that the owner and staff are constantly uploading pictures and keeping the communication clear through the Brightwheel app.

Review continued. Mutiple days on my son’s brightwheel app was being updated constantly about him having blowout BM. Which is odd because he never have blow out bowel movements at home only at daycare. The last full month was always something with this daycare. My son would have days where he would turn away from the owner like didn’t want to stay and babies can read energy. She charged me a late fee for picking him up at 5:35pm when her business hours stated 6am-6pm. I mentioned the hours on Google said 6am to $6pm and she never responded with okay this is a warning or gave a heads up that her hours ever changed to begin with. She was closed for a week during Christmas break and still charged me my copay and a late fee for not paying it when why would you charge when you didn’t provide the service. Just giving money away this point $82.00 for service that is wasn’t provided during Christmas. We had a conversation and she still charge me for service that was NOT provided. One of the last incidents she called me at work saying my son went to sleep at 10am ish and it’s now after 1pm and said he’s still sleep. He never sleeps that long for naps so why are you calling me at work when you are there with him. You tell me what’s going on. Like check on him ***red Flags*** I called in a complaint about my concerns after the complaint was filed they barely updated the brightwheel app. Some days I don’t even know if he had lunch because the app was never updated that he ate lunch. The owner just seemed spiteful, fake the energy was off the last couple weeks my baby attended. I finally was able to switch him 03/01/2024. Would not recommend your babies here.

I really love this place for my child. No daycare is perfect, but I believe they do the absolute best for the children that come here. Mrs. Darnice and her staff are great. I’ve heard MANY horror stories about the other facilities here in Clarksville so petty drama between coworkers or that someone leaves (just based off what I’ve read here in other reviews) isn’t what scares me about a daycare if someone can’t handle the job I rather them not be responsible for my child. I will continue to take my child here knowing she’s NOT being abused or mistreated.

This is by far the most unprofessional and unorganized daycare I have ever experienced. The treatment of my kids was very disturbing and unpleasant causing me to take my kids out of care. This daycare is always understaff and violates numerous of rules in regards to their handbook. Not to mention no adjustments were made when I brought up the safety of my children. My kids continuously experienced mistreatment and neglect before I pulled them out.

My daughter has been there going on four years and her time will come to an end, but Darnice has been very great with my daughters since day one she and the staff work diligently to operate and keep the facility running. I love that the owner strive to keep everyone safe due to sickness and viruses and take precautions when needed. I am truly going to miss having my daughter in their care.
