Donald GoodrichJul 25, 2019"Redeemed, How I Love to Proclaim It" was the title of yesterday's sermon based on 1 Peter 1:18-21 at FBPowell, TN and below is a quote from our sermon notes by Thomas Watson, "Great was the work of creation, but greater the work of redemption; it cost more to redeem us than to make us; in one [creation] there was but the speaking of a word, in the other the shedding of blood." Last evening we were talking with a friend who confessed that he was feeling empty when he came to church this morning and I said he came to the "fillin' station" where he was given the "full service" of God's awesome Word.
