Great group of Christ believers that care about this community!
E HJul 15, 2026I’ve been attending this church for two years. I’m relatively new to the area. FCC is a great place to worship. Great pastors and friendly people. Definitely thinking of joining this church. They make everyone feel welcomed.

Betsy M.Mar 17, 2025Unquestionably, this church does a lot of good in the community. Their slogan of "For Everyone" is also exactly what a Christ-Centered Church should be about. I just feel this post is warranted for those looking for more information before trying out this church: First Christian Church Johnson City is more on the Disciples of Christ spectrum of Christian Churches. There is no mention of such official affiliation within the church but the practiced principles are more aligned with that teaching premise than other Christian Churches in the area. This church is more on the liberal side of biblical interpretation. For a Christian Church, the salvation page of the website is also missing a couple of very important verses from the typical Christian Church beliefs page (John 3:4-8 & Acts 2:38). Just some thoughts to consider before trying out this church.

Kenneth ChristianJan 2, 2020Different kinds of services, some more traditional some more modern. Great age diversity, especially a lot of young people which isn't terribly common at many churches. Super friendly and positive people. Great stimulating teaching with academic depth and great life application. Highly recommend.
