  • The Goddard School of Chattanooga has been our rock through the daycare years! Caring staff and teachers who genuinely care about the kids, a wonderful and clean facility, and a fun and innovative curriculum have kept our child busy, excited about school, and Kindergarten ready. Goddard is the best daycare and early childhood program in Chattanooga hands down!

  • The Goddard School of Chattanooga has been an incredible experience for our family. We are confident in their curriculum, educational philosophy, and warm, inclusive environment. They navigate discipline with an approach similar to the Conscious Discipline philosophy, teaching consent thoughtfully and helping children build self-regulation skills when managing emotions. Above all, our child is having so much fun while learning in a safe, nurturing space. The teachers are compassionate, well-trained, and deeply invested in promoting values like empathy, open-mindedness, and community. The curriculum balances structured learning with play-based exploration, fostering creativity and independence. Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel informed and involved in our child’s progress. Relocating from Denver, CO, we toured many schools before finding The Goddard School, and it exceeded all our expectations. This is a community that celebrates diversity, instills strong values, and creates an environment where children thrive. Highly recommend—this is truly top-tier childcare in Chattanooga!

  • Everything about our recent transition to Goddard has been positive. The staff has been welcoming and friendly since day 1. Our child loves the enrichment activities. He comes home telling us about his day, everyday! The curriculum is challenging, yet fun! We also love the ever changing classroom themes, it keeps things new and interesting for curious 4 year olds.

Questions parents ask about Goddard School of Chattanooga

Is Goddard School of Chattanooga a licensed child care provider in Tennessee?

Yes. Goddard School of Chattanooga holds Tennessee licence TN-2921, listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Human Services, Child Care Services in Hamilton County. Confirm current standing on the state's child care provider map at onedhs.tn.gov before enrolling.

What is Goddard School of Chattanooga's star rating in Tennessee?

Tennessee publishes no star rating for Goddard School of Chattanooga. A provider without a rating has not been assessed under the Star-Quality programme rather than been rated poorly, and it is licensed and inspected either way.

What are Goddard School of Chattanooga's hours?

The state record lists 7:00 AM-5:00 PM. Tennessee publishes the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.

What are the site rules at Goddard School of Chattanooga?

The provider reports No Smoking/Vaping, Wheelchair Accessible, Near Public Transportation. These are self-reported to the state rather than verified at inspection, so confirm anything your child's health depends on directly.

Does this page show inspection results for Goddard School of Chattanooga?

No. Tennessee publishes a report card of licensing citations for each provider, and those are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Goddard School of Chattanooga's inspection history either way. Look the provider up on the state's child care provider map at onedhs.tn.gov and read its report card.
