The facility is very spacious, and Miss Meghan is wonderfully kind and patient with the children, providing excellent instruction. Parking is convenient, and the owners along with the front office staff are friendly and professional.
Chris ClarkJun 23, 2026I had heard mixed reviews on kindercare over the years basically saying depends on the location. So when we signed up I was little mehh. Only thing that needs updating is signing in every day on a paper binder. Every center I’ve used before has had electronic kiosk to sign in/out. (Teachers sign in and out) but if you had a kiosk parents have full control of that. We’ve been in numerous daycares over the years. Daycares can advertise all the bells and whistles they want, it really doesn’t matter to us if they don’t have great teachers taking care of peoples children, parents can see through all the fluff in about 3 days. Our son has had 3 teachers now since being at this center. These 3 individuals have been nothing short of fantastic. First Year being with Carolyn & Kayla in toddler B Currently Discovery Preschool with Skylar Ms. Carolyn- Kindercare should have every new hire in her classroom for a week watching how she cares for children. She’s got a gift Kayla- Every day I picked our son up if he hadn’t been changed, she asked us if she could change him before we left. Also she’s always very engaged with the kids with you looked in on the classroom before you walked in to pick them up for the day. Skylar- Is a fantastic caregiver, very detailed leaves great notes on the app and is a pleasure to interact with every day. She develops a relationship with each and every child in her care. All 3 teachers don’t act like it’s just a job but more like it’s a calling
LandonJul 31, 2025KinderCare has been a great daycare for our daughter! Our baby started in Infant Room A and has now moved up to Infant Room C. We’ve had great experiences with the teachers and are so appreciative of their care and compassion with our daughter. From updates in the app, to offering our little one new foods, to rocking her on bad teething days; we are pleased with our baby’s experience here and again, are so thankful for the hardworking and dedicated teachers!
Megan ChalkJul 31, 2025I’m a first time mom, so enrolling my 5 month old into daycare was tough for me. But Miss Morgan made it so easy. She assured me my daughter would be in good hands. She was not lying at all! Miss Bri and other teachers in infant A deserve a bonus because they keep that classroom sanitizer (just how I like it). When I pick her up, I never have to worry about changing her diaper, clothes, or feeding her because they already took care of it. They do a fantastic job at keeping me posted by logging in her daily activities in the app. The staff are welcoming, the facility is clean, and I feel comfortable leaving my daughter here while I work☺️
Ebony SmithJul 30, 2025Hickory KinderCare has been amazing for our family! The staff is kind and caring, and our child is thriving. A special shoutout to Ms. Tanisha—she’s patient, loving, and truly dedicated. We’re so grateful for the care and attention she gives every day!
Zoya AndersonJul 5, 2025As first-time parents who relocated to Nashville when I was 20 weeks pregnant, the search for daycare was daunting. Any parent will tell you—waitlists are no joke. I was already on ten in our previous city, so the anxiety was real. But when we reached out to Hickory KinderCare, everything changed. From the very first phone call, they were warm, responsive, and willing to work with our full-time schedules to arrange a tour—no small feat. During our visit, we were shown around by a lovely young woman who, to our delight, was also the Infant Room teacher—exactly where we’d be starting. She sold us instantly. The facility was clean, bright, and most importantly, felt safe. Meeting Brianna, the infant teacher, sealed the deal—her warmth, professionalism, and passion for children radiated from the moment we walked in. When our baby arrived (a bit early!), I called to confirm our spot, and without hesitation, they picked up right where we left off. Mary Ann helped adjust our start date and made us feel like they were just as excited to welcome our little one as we were to begin. Dropping off your infant for the first time is truly one of the hardest things a new parent does. You’re adjusting to so much—new routines, returning to work, navigating postpartum life—and yet Hickory KinderCare made that transition seamless. I never doubted for a second that my baby was in a safe, clean, and nurturing environment. He is thriving, and I absolutely credit his early development in large part to the amazing curriculum and care he receives each day. Yes, I was initially nervous about the location next to a gas station and storage facility—but that concern quickly melted away. You barely notice it, and their security measures are top-notch. The communication is clear and consistent—whether it’s updates on curriculum, daily activities, or anything they feel is important to share. The KinderCare app has been a lifesaver. It lets me track my son’s feedings, naps, diaper changes, and even sends sweet pictures throughout the day. While I do wish there were cameras in the rooms, the transparency and care from the staff more than makes up for it. My son is about to move up to the next room at six months, and I know I’ll cry leaving his current teacher behind. That’s how much trust and connection we’ve built here. I can’t recommend Hickory KinderCare enough. The staff, the structure, the communication, the price—everything has exceeded our expectations. If you’re a new parent navigating this world for the first time, do yourself a favor and schedule a tour. You’ll know you’ve found the right place the moment you walk through the door.

Questions parents ask about Hickory KinderCare
Is Hickory KinderCare a licensed child care provider in Tennessee?

What is Hickory KinderCare's star rating in Tennessee?
- Tennessee publishes no star rating for Hickory KinderCare. A provider without a rating has not been assessed under the Star-Quality programme rather than been rated poorly, and it is licensed and inspected either way.
What are Hickory KinderCare's hours?
- The state record lists 6:30 AM-6:00 PM. Tennessee publishes the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.
What programmes does Hickory KinderCare take part in?
- The state record lists Certificate Program.
What are the site rules at Hickory KinderCare?
- The provider reports No Dogs, No Smoking/Vaping, No Cats. These are self-reported to the state rather than verified at inspection, so confirm anything your child's health depends on directly.
Does this page show inspection results for Hickory KinderCare?
- No. Tennessee publishes a report card of licensing citations for each provider, and those are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Hickory KinderCare's inspection history either way. Look the provider up on the state's child care provider map at onedhs.tn.gov and read its report card.
