HIXSON LEARNING CENTER

We’ve had a great experience with Hixson Learning Center. The staff is caring and attentive, and my daughter has grown so much since starting. My daughter absolutely loves Heather, which gives me so much peace of mind. I would definitely recommend this center to other families! Ana Benton

We put our daughter in Hixson Learning Center back in August and it was the best decision we’ve made! We can tell she has learned so much and she loves going to school. They sure know their stuff! Just schedule a tour and you’ll fall in love, just like we did. It honestly reminds us of when we were in childcare as kids and that is very humbling, seeing today’s world. They also incorporate Jesus into their day which is wonderful. We now have both of our girls there and we look forward to keeping them there until it is time for Kindergarten. If you’re looking for a place that will genuinely care for and love your child then you’ve found the right place.

The teachers here are truly wonderful and very caring. My daughter really loves studying here. They are kind, warm, and genuinely love children. Especially Ms. Gain. I remember one time when I was pregnant and my car broke down—she immediately called someone to help me and comforted me right outside the classroom. I truly appreciate and love everyone here.

Our daughter has attended Hixson Learning Center since she was 2- so about two years now. I can't say enough about the staff there. Gail, Heather, Britney and Terri love their kids like their own and have always made my husband and I feel comfortable. They are constantly communicating, always have a smile on their face and instill the best environment for their kiddos. I've also made some very close relationships with some of the parents there. They are all like family to us and always will be. We love HLC!

I was referred to HLC by a friend of the family when moving to Hixson. My husband and I searched every option in the area. Many were just rude about being full or having waiting list. We found this family of teachers to be the best for our son. We scheduled a time and toured the center. Heather and Gail were wonderful. Yes we did have to leave a message to get a call back BUT they are focused on the children and that is completely understandable. After all this is a small private school with only 24 kids. I am comforted in knowing they are not on cell phones and talking with people instead of teaching my son. It is not a daycare. It is a school. They have playtime but also have a great schedule of teaching. My son knows the pledge of allegiance at 3 years of age. We really enjoyed the Christmas program for our little man. His last center didn’t do anything like this. They genuinely care for our son like he is one of their own. He talks about Ms Terry everyday when we pick him up. She is his buddy. They have went above and beyond during this pandemic. They could have closed but instead supported us “essential workers” by maintaining their high cleaning standards and by keeping the school open and safe for our little ones.
