My name is Shanta , I'm a new mom of a amazing 5 year old daughter. She's my only child. So this was my 1st time having a child attend school. I'm 42 years old over all my years I heard and seen a lot of crazy things within the school system so I was scared to start this journey. I will say that Ivanetta Davis has been truly amazing to us. my daughter is already very smart and they has made her 1st year attending school a dream come true for her. She was so scared to start school. And she has learned so much. I want to give a special Thank you to Dr. Wilson, Mrs.Waller, Ms.White, She has became my little artist. She loves to draw so I would also like to thank the wonderful art teacher Mrs.Fanny and all the other Teachers Assistant that help my daughter get ready for kindergarten I know she's going to miss y'all very much She's so excited to start kindergarten This was a amazing year for her I hate it has come to an end.

Despite the challenges of navigating through the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Wilson and the dedicated staff have remained steadfast in their support and collaboration. This school is truly a hidden gem within MNPS. If you're looking for a school where your child will receive top-notch education, compassionate support, and a love for learning, look no further than Ivanetta Davis ELC. I am grateful for the positive impact it has had on my children's lives and highly recommend it to other parents seeking an exceptional early learning experience.
Kearea BradyMay 15, 2024My oldest attended Ivanetta in 2018-2019, LOVED IT! They truly prepared her for kindergarten. My middle child has been there since 2022. She will be graduating this month and will be tested for the Gifted and Talented program next week! They truly set up their students for success, which is why I’m so excited for my youngest to start with them this August! I have no doubt she will follow their academic success because of Ivanetta Davis ELC!!!
Enjoli MorganMay 12, 2024I have nothing but great things to say about this school. My daughter has been attending since she was 4 and it’s been a wonderful experience. The staff is caring and is great at what they do. S/o to the principal as well. You can tell by the way she knows EVERY child’s name that she’s not only involved but she also cares! I wish my daughter could continue another year but I know she will be well off, simply because of the support and help the school has offered her. #ProudDuck

The teachers and student body are very kind. Always ready to greet parents and provide one of the safest environments I've seen thus far. My kids have also met great friends here at Davis and we feel like everyone is family and it's a great village . I am so proud of the work my entire staff has done for the past 3 years! Since becoming principal, we have had a waiting list for both Pre-K3 and Pre-K4! Our students have consistently met and exceeded developmentally appropriate goals in literacy, math, and social emotional learning! We love children and our vision is to be the "First Choice" for families when seeking a high quality early learning environment! If you or someone you know are interested in our school, you are welcome to come and visit! We have a dedicated staff who provides exceptional learning experiences that prepare children for kindergarten and beyond!
