Everone I encountered with Leaps N Bounds was friendly, sweet, and clearly caring about kids. Kristie and Priscilla were both so helpful and Kristie went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable with my 3 month old in their care. They have clear systems and structures that leave little room for ambiguity. I appreciate the homey feel of Leaps N Bounds that brings ultimate comfort and professionalism to childcare.
Jessica HolcombFeb 6, 2026I wish i could give this place more STARS. Both my boys went here for over a year and absolutely loved it! Teachers and owners are amazing! Both boys were sad to go and that says a lot to me! I without a doubt highly recommend Leaps N bounds!
Nadijah JewellOct 30, 2025My child was terminated from the daycare after we stood up for her health issues. The negligence of the staff by feeding my child food with listed allergens that we had expressed multiple times including in writing with the daycare not to give her. After we stood up for her again and asked the owner for accountability of the matter, we were notified of immediate termination of our daughter’s enrollment the next day. They want your money but if you don’t let them raise your child however they want while they’re there they’ll kick you out.
Wesley KeeslingJun 25, 2024I cannot share enough words about how awesome the people and staff are at Leaps and Bounds. The teachers are so caring, attentive and fantastic with the kids. They treat them all as if they were their own kids and grandchildren. We've experienced so many other daycares that have made us feel like our child was just a 'payment' to them, but never here. The staff all genuinely care about the children, they all know their names, and create fun and engaging activities for the kids to belong in. I LOVE that they have a large fenced in yard for the kids to play in. The kids are frequently outside playing and not cooped up inside. My child is safe, loved and taken care of buy the staff here and for that I am truly thankful!
Jenn BradleyMay 1, 2023My son attended this daycare from one to three years old. At first, we really liked the facility and staff. I did have my reservations from the beginning because structure seemed to be lacking. There were two wonderful teachers (who are no longer there) that seemed to genuinely care about my son and enjoy working with children. After a few months there it was evident that structure was lacking. My son was constantly moving rooms and teachers. Anyone with basic knowledge of childcare knows that children thrive off of structure and routine. Most days when I arrived for pick up, children were running and screaming throughout the facility as teachers screamed at the kids. It was obvious that the teachers had no control over the kids. At the end of my son’s enrollment, he was moved into a room with a new teacher. I was told by the teacher that he was struggling with his behavior. I tried to further discuss this with her but she blew it off saying he was likely acting out due to copying the bad behaviors of the older children in his room. One morning during drop off, I over heard his teacher calling another child a “little brat”. I was told by other staff that other parents have reported her to the director because they heard her telling the kids to “shut up”. Nothing was done to the teacher. The final straw was when one day at pick up the director showed me a video recording on her phone of my son making noises during nap time trying to keep himself awake. Instead of trying to comfort my son and help him fall asleep, she stood over him recording. We received an email, after we had already decided to find a new daycare, that they were considering kicking my son out of the program due to his behavior. They were going to give him one week before they made a decision. They did not offer to meet and try to set up a plan of action to help him. Instead they just wanted to kick him out. It’s hard enough being a full time working parent and leaving your child in the care of others for most of the time. Especially when it was made obvious that they truly never cared about your child. My son has been in a new daycare for about 5 months now. He is thriving and so much happier. He is greeted every morning with a good morning and a smile (this rarely happened at leaps n bounds). Most days, the teachers did not even acknowledge that we had walked into the building. He has structure and lots of fun activities to look forward to at his new daycare. We are so happy we made the decision to move him. Other things to be aware of at leaps n bounds: lunch is not provided, breakfast was provided to children who arrived before 7 am (which sometimes consisted of just a Nutri-Grain bar) the playground was rotting and dilapidated (my son was actually injured by a piece of wood sticking up during his last week there). It’s sad because there are not many daycares in Manchester so parents really don’t have many options. I commute to Murfreesboro for work and take my son to daycare in Murfreesboro. It makes for some very early mornings but it’s so worth it knowing he is happy and being cared for like he should be. All in all, I do not recommend this daycare. I don’t feel the directors truly care about the children especially when they had knowledge that a teacher was being verbally abusive and did nothing about it.
Leslie BohnaOct 30, 2022My son started at Leaps and Bounds when he was about 18 weeks old. They took such great care of him! I felt comfortable leaving him every day because the staff really cares for the kids. We had to make changes due to schedules and logistics but I would recommend this day care as they continue to evolve and grow to make this place a second home for the kiddos!
