  • The hours of operation were convenient, and a few members of the staff were kind and supportive. Unfortunately, I had to withdraw my child after the director informed me that the center was unable to provide the level of care he needed. Whenever my child’s primary teacher was absent, there were ongoing issues. I received multiple calls throughout the day asking me to pick him up because he would not take a nap. If your child has autism or is on the spectrum, I recommend discussing the center’s ability to meet their specific needs before enrolling. One of the most concerning parts of my experience was when the director told me that she and the staff “get frustrated” with my child. As a parent, hearing that from the person responsible for overseeing my child’s care was very discouraging. I was also contacted by DCS and informed that I needed to pick up my child because the required paperwork regarding his diabetes was not in place. I had previously asked the director if she needed anything from me to complete the paperwork, but she declined. Communication throughout our time at the center was inconsistent, and I often felt uninformed about important matters. While I appreciate the kindness shown by some members of the staff, my overall experience left me feeling that the center was not equipped to meet my child’s needs.

  • I have had my child attend Mosaic for a significant amount of time, and overall there are many things I truly appreciate about the daycare itself. The current director is wonderful and genuinely cares about the children and families. From the beginning, most of the teachers have also been amazing. Of course, there were a few staff members over time who were not my favorite, but they have since left. My child’s current teachers are absolutely incredible. They communicate well, pay attention to my child’s needs, and truly listen to any concerns I may have as a parent. My biggest concern has always been how the church handles the daycare overall. Unfortunately, it often feels like the daycare is not a priority to the church staff. Wednesday pickup is frequently a nightmare due to the church’s Wednesday night kids club. Children are often crowded in the walkways while parents are trying to enter the building, and there have been multiple times kids were running through the parking lot and in front of moving vehicles while families are trying to park. This has always felt like a major safety concern to me. Another ongoing issue is that the daycare classrooms must be packed up every Wednesday and Friday so the church can use the spaces. Because of this, daycare children are often moved classes earlier than normal on those days. You can clearly see the strain and extra workload this puts on the teachers and staff. During the renovations, we were told that once completed, the church and daycare would operate more separately. That was honestly one of the main reasons I stayed as long as I have. Now that renovations are wrapping up, it appears that plan has changed, which is disappointing since many of the same concerns still remain unresolved. I have also heard multiple individuals express frustration that church staff members often do not even acknowledge them when passing in common areas. As church members, you would expect a much more welcoming and appreciative environment toward the daycare staff, especially considering how hard they work every single day. The daycare staff deserves to feel valued and respected. It is also widely understood that the daycare contributes significantly to supporting the church overall, which makes the disconnect even more disappointing. There has also been a lot of transition throughout the renovation process, which I understand can be difficult for everyone involved. Despite those challenges, the daycare staff and teachers have continued to work hard and care deeply for the children, and that is something I truly appreciate.

  • We’ve had a great experience with this learning center. The staff is patient, consistent, and truly seems to care about the kids. My son has grown a lot socially and academically since starting here, and we appreciate the structure they provide. It’s been a steady, positive place for him, and we’re grateful for the work they put in every day.

  • Horrible daycare they always blame everything on My child instead of the teachers, the teachers never took her potty and she always peed herself until we got a different teacher and then she stopped paying herself, but they just blamed my child for it and then they let men take your daughter to the bathroom and then tell you to your face that they don’t but then when I ask the mail teacher, he said he does. On the first day of my daughter going there, she had someone yell at her just because she was upset and didn’t want to take a nap because she wasn’t used to naps and the lady started yelling at her.

  • I would never recommend this place; my baby went through the worst moments here. And nothing can erase the incidents and the poor care she received.

  • Please read, very upset. My daughter is special needs and has right sided hemiplegic cerebral palsy. I called today about some questions for the process of enrolling my daughter in part time care. Once I told the woman on the phone that my child was special needs and would need some minor accommodations, she immediately stated that they would not be a good fit for her. My daughter's disability is more mild compared to most so she really would just need to make sure someone held her hand down a stair or was extra attentive to make sure she wouldn't fall while playing, or other basic help. ADA laws protect disabled children from being discriminated against and they were not abiding by basic ADA laws. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires child care centers to provide equal access and make reasonable accommodations for children with disabilities. I was especially shocked that a church's daycare was the one to not be inclusive.
