  • I have always thought highly of this facility and have often raved about it. I have used Music City Kids frequently for over a year and have always found the employees to be exceptional. The owner's husband, whom I met once, was also extremely kind. Recently, I dropped off my child because we had an appointment. We informed the staff that we weren't sure of the exact pickup time, so we provided an approximate time without realizing the importance of overestimating it. To my knowledge, our pickup times had never been strictly audited before. On the one occasion that I met the owner, I received a phone call informing me that I was late picking up my child, even though it was still several hours before the facility closed. She asked if she could update my pickup time and expressed concern about child abandonment issues because I hadn't picked up my child yet. Many mothers might have found her tone somewhat threatening or at least off-putting. I immediately returned to pick up my child as I was only a block away and hadn't realized the urgency. When I brought up the off-putting conversation, the owner began gritting her teeth and reminded me that she could lose her license if the state audited and found a child still signed in past the designated time. However, she didn't call to check if everything was okay or show any concern for our well-being. Instead, she focused on reiterating her concern about child abandonment. It's not the issue itself but rather how she chose to deliver the message. There is a right and wrong way to speak to people, and she certainly tends to lead by fear. If you're unsure of your pickup time, make sure to provide a time close to closing to avoid a near-threatening phone call from the owner, who clearly leads by fear. While I've been impressed by everything and everyone else at the facility, the owner's approach has been extremely disappointing.

  • My kids love it and we feel so comfortable dropping them off there. We’re with Music City Kids Club for almost 3 years now. The staff is so nice and helpful. If you need a break this is THE place to take care of your little ones. So glad we have this in Hendersonville.

  • My son absolutely loves it here. The facility is always really clean and organized. The staff is amazing very friendly and attentive. I love that there is a large variety of activities. The rates are fair and the flexibility of hours was a major factor for my family. I have a picky eater so I always pack his lunch and snack even though there is a really good snack option for purchase at the facility.

  • I love taking my son here! They have the friendliest staff and my son is always begging me to go back. I love that it's hourly and I don't have to make an appointment. They do offer snacks for a price but I brought our own snacks and they had no problem with it. I can't wait for more of these to open in more cities!

  • We're too lucky to have this place in H'ville. Great hours, great flexibility, and the kids have a blast there. Great option for school holidays, date nights, or if you just need an hour or 2 to get things done. Love them.

  • When I come back to get my kids and they are upset to leave you know that they are having a great time! It’s a blessing to have this available and I love the location! I can drop them off and get my grocery shopping done, by myself! And they are usually worn out when I pick them up!

Questions parents ask about Music City Kids Club

Is Music City Kids Club a licensed child care provider in Tennessee?

Yes. Music City Kids Club holds Tennessee licence TN-1874, listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Human Services, Child Care Services in Sumner County. Confirm current standing on the state's child care provider map at onedhs.tn.gov before enrolling.

What is Music City Kids Club's star rating in Tennessee?

Tennessee publishes no star rating for Music City Kids Club. A provider without a rating has not been assessed under the Star-Quality programme rather than been rated poorly, and it is licensed and inspected either way.

What are Music City Kids Club's hours?

The state record lists 8:00 AM-11:00 PM. Tennessee publishes the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.

What are the site rules at Music City Kids Club?

The provider reports No Dogs, No Pets, No Smoking/Vaping, Wheelchair Accessible, No Cats. These are self-reported to the state rather than verified at inspection, so confirm anything your child's health depends on directly.

Does this page show inspection results for Music City Kids Club?

No. Tennessee publishes a report card of licensing citations for each provider, and those are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Music City Kids Club's inspection history either way. Look the provider up on the state's child care provider map at onedhs.tn.gov and read its report card.
