Great Biblical preaching. Friendly congregation. Lots of community involvement and outreach.
William EdmondsJul 21, 2025It just feels like home. I love my church and church family.
Rocky Top Garage DoorApr 24, 2025This place needs to get their act together. Even more specifically, the youth group and those whose “lead” it. They not only ignore the severe bullying of kids they condone it and call it “fun”. For the sake of your children look elsewhere for a church. Shame on these people and their joke of what they think religion entails.
Nate MiljenovicJul 9, 2024This is a very friendly, and welcoming church. The preaching is great, and the music is traditional.
Jean HagieOct 1, 2023We've been visiting this church for a few weeks now. Great preaching with a very welcoming congregation. If you're looking for amazing sermons, this is the place for you.
CraiguratorMay 15, 2023Don't go unless you fit their exact mold of what a Christian should be and look like, unless you want to be obviously judged for it within the first 2 minutes of meeting you!! I'm a Christian, been in church my entire life, raised in a Christian school, done numerous mission trips around the world, 2 siblings and 3 aunts and uncles are Bible translators and long-term missionaries. The pastor asked my church background and when I said we'd attended non-denominational in Oregon, he winced/cringed so hard that my wife noticed while she was in another conversation and almost facing away from us. He had just spoken while preaching about what is wrong with all the Southern Baptist churches besides themselves. When I mentioned that we moved from Oregon because we got priced out of the real estate market, the pastor's tone got terse as he told me that while our prices back home may seem expensive compared to East TN, that all of us moving there for housing were making it unaffordable for everyone living there already. He then checked out of the conversation and started looking around at no one in particular, and when I reached out to shake his hand and said "It was good to meet you" he had turned 90 degrees away from me and didn't look at me while extending his hand sideways across himself to shake and didn't return any similar "goodbye" in response. I've heard non-Christians complain about being judged in a Baptist church and always felt they were just making excuses (I grew up Mennonite before going non-denominational and enjoyed both). To be judged that harshly by a pastor, another Christian, over matters that don't pertain to salvation, and even geographic origin, within 2 minutes of meeting him was astounding! The congregation was awesome and not representative of who unfortunately leads them.
