  • The following is based entirely on our personal experience. We enrolled our child at Princeton Prep Daycare in July 2025 and recently made the decision to withdraw due to ongoing concerns with communication, safety practices, and overall management. Our child was moved between classrooms multiple times without prior notification, and we received little to no daily communication despite being told an app would be used for updates. There were also times that, from what we personally observed, classroom ratios appeared inconsistent with Tennessee requirements. We also had concerns about cleanliness based on what we saw, including the condition of toys in the toddler play area and the general upkeep of common spaces, which in our opinion declined over time. In addition, building security appeared to be lacking. On multiple occasions, we observed that access to the facility could be gained simply by following someone else inside, with no staff member present at the front desk and, at times, no adult actively monitoring the entrance. Our decision to leave ultimately followed an incident where, despite instructions we provided, our child was fed food she was not supposed to have and became ill afterward. I do want to note that there are a few genuinely great teachers there who clearly care about the children. However, from our perspective, leadership and overall management seem to impact consistency, communication, and the overall environment. Based on our experience, we chose to report our concerns through the appropriate channels. I would encourage other parents to ask detailed questions about communication, classroom transitions, staffing, cleanliness, and security when considering care options.

  • We had our daughter in daycare for three days and for every day that she was there, her diaper was over full like they never changed her since we dropped her off, she is now traumatized to get in the car every morning just because of how much she dislike the facility, the teachers did not care to properly watch, teach, handle anything that we wanted our daughter to have. There was an inappropriate action by someone at the facility kissing my daughter on the head, the staff there are not caring, nurturing or anything. My daughter is 2.5 and completely traumatized from this place. I will NEVER recommend this place for anyone. My husband went to pick the rest of her items up today and they absolutely did not care that she was there for a few days and no longer is returning. It’s pretty much a place you drop your kid off and let them watch them. Not teach, show, interact or do anything that is remotely close to learning or fun. Also they keep their shoes on the whole time they’re there which is weird since I’ve brought slippers for her every time.

  • I paid a registration fee back in April made sure that I had updated contact information. Time had passed and I reached out to to them first call was to state that initially when they gave me an approximate date that it was based on essential workers vouchers running out but because they had renewed them that it was undetermined when a spot would be available. So I made sure my information wasn’t updated. Called again after some time had passed and basically the contact that I had previously given them was not in fact in their system even though the call prior to that it was supposed to be documented. Basically I was out a spot and was working on a refund due to the undocumented update contact information. So after speaking with the director she agreed to doing the refund due to the situation. Well at least two months pass with back and forth phone calls about the refund me making sure the address was in fact correct and just a call back in regards to the refund multiple times that I requested a call back I didn’t even receive any calls from the facility I had to call back weeks later saying well there’s no note saying to call. Anyways fast forward and the check was supposedly sent to the address that was clarified before sending and weeks go by and nothing. Today I was told to call after 9:30am and so I did and was told she went to the back to check on it due to not knowing weather or not it had been cashed. Later I received a call from the husband of the director. He was very rude and aggressive in his manner of speaking even stated “you don’t want to mess with me” so to me that’s an indirect threat. Saying oh well policy states we don’t do refunds. Ok I get that but if I pay for spots and make sure that I’m calling to update contact information and it’s not being documented correctly how is it right not to do the refund. I was highly upset with the manner or tone and the way he spoke to me. Very unprofessional. I’m so thankful my kids didn’t get those spots because I couldn’t be happier with the daycare they are currently attending. This is a wonderful example of blessings in disguise. Sometimes we think it’s bad when things don’t go the way expected but with the way I was treated today I definitely don’t want my children to attend such a toxic environment.

  • Best ever daycare! I read that one negative review and then checked on the other reviews that the person posted, very negative regarding everything and every place, not just daycare facilities. I did my homework and Princeton Prep is fabulous. It’s been open for 20+ years, parents are happy and children are thriving, learning, and loved.

  • This is a GREAT place! The teachers there really care about and for the children. Well balanced meals, clean environment and a safe place. There is good reason Princeton Prep has been around for a long time.

  • great daycare, facilities could use updating, but there is a reason they have been in business for like 30 years i think. The teachers genuinely care about their children and communication with everyone has been great.
