Sunshine and Broccoli Christian Academy Nolensville

We absolutely love S&B! The staff goes above and beyond to make you and your children feel comfortable with the transition to daycare. They provide so many updates and pictures throughout the day. We’ve had experience with the infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms, and we have loved all the teachers!!

We love S&B! Everyone is highly communicative and we get lots of pictures every day of our kids having fun and learning new things. The staff are loving and caring towards the kids and we feel so comfortable knowing that our children are in good hands.

My child was bit 5 times in less than an 8 week period. There was no plan or remediation from leadership on how to prevent and protect my child, or other children. I have proof that their own bite policy was not followed for these events, not once but multiple times. The last straw was finding a bite that broke skin and left a large bruise one evening that I was not notified about. Camera footage did not reveal any details on how this occurred and I was essentially dismissed. They are consistently understaffed and will ask parents to leave children home to meet ratio. Incredibly disheartening as a parent to watch this happen to your child with little remorse or remediation from ownership. I do not recommend this facility, leaving has given me so much peace as a parent.

I recently toured sunshine and broccoli, and while the tour initially seemed to go well, I have since decided not to enroll my children there. During my visit, I noticed a strong odor of urine in the building and found the director's attitude to be somewhat off-putting. Furthermore, after speaking with several friends who are currently removing their children from the school, I was advised of more serious concerns. They mentioned that the owner, Mary, has made questionable decisions, including abruptly replacing the entire management team, dismissing students, and behaving aggressively toward parents. Given these reports of how leadership treats families, I am concerned about the overall environment for both the children and the staff. I wanted to share this feedback as you consider daycare options.

Been very happy at this school! The staff is great, always friendly, upbeat and take good care of our children. They seem to really care! Management has been great as well. Would definitely recommend S&B!
