  • We have had such an incredible experience with this daycare over the past five years. My son has been here since he was a newborn and is now about to graduate after completing their kindergarten bootcamp program. It’s bittersweet to be leaving a place that has meant so much to our family. Our daughter also attended here and completed the same kindergarten bootcamp two years ago, and we truly saw how well it prepared her for kindergarten. That program alone gave us so much confidence in the level of care and education they provide. What stands out the most is the genuine love and care from the teachers. It’s evident every single day that they truly care about the children. The directors have also always been attentive, responsive, and willing to listen to any concerns we’ve had—and more importantly, they take action. We are so grateful for the role this school has played in our children’s early years and would highly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing, supportive, and well-run daycare.

  • Since my child started attending AOHC, we have felt nothing but warmth and support from both the administrative staff and the teachers. Everyone has gone above and beyond to welcome our family and help with my child’s transition. Each teacher takes the time to remember my child’s name and greets our family with genuine kindness every day. The school environment feels safe, nurturing, and full of care. We are truly grateful for the love and dedication shown to our child, and we highly recommend AOHC to any family looking for a supportive and caring school community.

  • We are so grateful for our experience at the Academy at Heritage Commons. The teachers and staff are incredibly warm, nurturing, and attentive to our daughter’s needs. Our daughter has thrived socially, emotionally, and academically. She is entering kindergarten with confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation in early literacy and problem-solving skills. We couldn’t be happier with the preparation she’s received here!

  • We are incredibly happy with the care our child receives at The Academy of Heritage Commons. The staff are warm, attentive, and truly invested in each child's development. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and provides a stimulating environment for learning and play. We especially appreciate the regular communication from teachers about our child's progress and the thoughtful activities planned throughout the day. We feel completely confident leaving our child in their capable hands.

  • My daughter has been enrolled at The Academy of Heritage Commons for a year now and we have nothing but good things to say. I love that all the staff is long term so we know all the faces and everyone knows her by name. All the kids love each other and form great bonds as well. We will be sad when the time comes to leave we are so lucky to have found such a great school.

  • We made the switch to the Academy of Heritage Commons last year and we have had nothing but a good experience with them. Our daughter is coming home with new things learned each day and singing songs that she is learning. She loves coming into school and we trust each person that is employed here. We also get to eat breakfast with her each morning with the breakfast bar they offer before heading into work, which is super helpful with busy schedules. We are extremely pleased with our decision to switch schools to the Academy and highly recommend them!

Questions parents ask about The Academy of Heritage Commons

Is The Academy of Heritage Commons a licensed child care provider in Tennessee?

Yes. The Academy of Heritage Commons holds Tennessee licence TN-549, listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Human Services, Child Care Services in Williamson County. Confirm current standing on the state's child care provider map at onedhs.tn.gov before enrolling.

What is The Academy of Heritage Commons's star rating in Tennessee?

Tennessee rates The Academy of Heritage Commons 3 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. The Star-Quality rating measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.

What are The Academy of Heritage Commons's hours?

The state record lists 6:00 AM-6:00 PM. Tennessee publishes the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.

What are the site rules at The Academy of Heritage Commons?

The provider reports No Dogs, No Pets, No Smoking/Vaping, No Cats, Wheelchair Accessible. These are self-reported to the state rather than verified at inspection, so confirm anything your child's health depends on directly.

Does this page show inspection results for The Academy of Heritage Commons?

No. Tennessee publishes a report card of licensing citations for each provider, and those are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects The Academy of Heritage Commons's inspection history either way. Look the provider up on the state's child care provider map at onedhs.tn.gov and read its report card.
