  • Had some good years here but the daycare is under new management and apparently they are going woke now. At my daughters pre-K graduation they treated our 5 year olds like some puppets to push a political agenda and while reciting the pledge of allegiance had all the kids end it with “with liberty and justice for all, not some of us, all of us”. Really gross and disappointing.

  • Not used to posting reviews, we thought this one might be useful. Our experience at Academy McKayMill was not satisfactory. Child left out, unpleasant teachers. After 1 year, our child was still crying during morning drop-off. We decided to change of daycare and it was day and night. Our child has never cried again and is now very happy. This proves that there is a problem at Academy McKayMill. Given the exorbitant cost of these daycares, you deserve better. Don't make the same mistake we did.

  • We love the Academy of McKay's Mill! My daughter started at just 16 weeks old and it has become a second home to her. It is hard leaving your child but it's much easier when you know that the teachers and staff treat your baby like their own. The platform that they use to communicate with the parents is fabulous. It keeps me in the loop about feedings, diapers, activities AND I get pictures throughout the day. We highly recommend The Academy to any family that is looking for a safe, clean, educational and fun environment to send your child to!

  • My two daughters happily attended the Academy of McKay's Mill from only months old until Kindergarten. Over the last 8 years we have had so many great experiences. What originally attracted us to AOMM were the teachers and we were not disappointed. There were so many including Ms. Regina, Ms. Sherry, and Ms. Tina that cared for our kids and taught them so much. My oldest ended up being bored in Kindergarten because she was so well prepared. As Pre-K graduation approaches, I have the same expectation for my youngest but Ms. Regina rightly corrected me that she's likely ready for 1st grade instead.

  • I am so thankful for The Academy of McKay’s Mill. I have brought my only child here since he was 3 months old. As a first time parent, I was naturally very apprehensive about leaving my child anywhere. The staff made me feel so safe and at ease leaving him with them! My son is 1 year old now and it is so nice to see him reaching for his teachers every morning when I drop him off! I can’t imagine taking my little guy anywhere else.
