The Gardner School of Franklin has been the best school by far. I have two kids and have gone through three other top-rated daycares in the area, and nothing compares. I truly wish we had found them sooner. The teachers in the Discovery classes are absolutely amazing. They genuinely care, comfort the children, and provide such detailed updates about my daughter’s day. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Ms. Anna Kate and Ms. Alyssa. From helping with rough drop-offs, to speaking to her in Spanish, to supporting her through potty training — they go above and beyond every single day. We are so grateful for the love, patience, and dedication they show our daughter
Vallery Pardo-LopezFeb 27, 2026We have had such a wonderful experience at TGS Preschool. It’s clear the staff truly cares about the children and the environment they create each day. Our son loves going to school, and we’ve seen so much growth in his confidence, social skills, and joy for learning. Ms. Brittney and Ms. Lexi are truly exceptional. They go above and beyond to make every child feel seen, supported, and loved. Their kindness, patience, and intentional care mean so much to our family. We are incredibly grateful for the TGS team and highly recommend this preschool to anyone looking for a nurturing, loving environment for their child.
Loren MurphyFeb 26, 2026We have a three year old enrolled at TGS Franklin and have had a wonderful experience this year! Miss Alexis and Miss Blake do a great job of developing and teaching curriculum and making each day fun! The school leadership does a nice job communicating, and making families feel welcome and included through various social events and activities.
Jessica DialFeb 10, 2026We are so grateful to The Gardner School of Franklin for the incredible foundation they gave our daughter. She just started kindergarten, and her very first day was nothing short of amazing—she walked in with confidence, knew exactly what to do, and adjusted so smoothly. All of this is thanks to the wonderful preparation, support, and love she received during her pre-K years here. The teachers team did such an excellent job making her kindergarten-ready, not only academically but also socially and emotionally. We could see how much effort went into building her confidence and independence, and it truly made all the difference. As parents, we couldn’t be happier with our decision to send her here. Thank you to the entire Gardner School of Franklin team for shaping our daughter into the confident, ready-to-shine kindergartener she is today!
Naval ThakurAug 18, 2025Overall fantastic school. Over the years with our 3 kids we’ve attended 6 different daycare / pre schools in 2 cities and I can say confidently our infant is well taken care of and doing great. We’ve attended another well reviewed day care in Franklin and this is on par, likely even better. Their team has been there a long time and there is zero drama, something just about every other daycare has! Well done!
Matthew McBrideDec 31, 2024I cannot say enough good things about Gardner School in Cool Springs! My little boy started at six weeks old and he's now over one year old... I am proud to say every teacher and staff member has made an impact and loved on my kid like their own. He's learning and having fun - and above-all being well taken care of each and every day. This is a special place with special people - THANK YOU!!

Questions parents ask about The Gardner School of Franklin
Is The Gardner School of Franklin a licensed child care provider in Tennessee?
- Yes. The Gardner School of Franklin holds Tennessee licence TN-1426, listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Human Services, Child Care Services in Williamson County. Confirm current standing on the state's child care provider map at onedhs.tn.gov before enrolling.
What is The Gardner School of Franklin's star rating in Tennessee?
- Tennessee rates The Gardner School of Franklin 3 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. The Star-Quality rating measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.
What are The Gardner School of Franklin's hours?
- The state record lists 7:00 AM-6:00 PM. Tennessee publishes the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.
What are the site rules at The Gardner School of Franklin?
- The provider reports No Smoking/Vaping, Wheelchair Accessible. These are self-reported to the state rather than verified at inspection, so confirm anything your child's health depends on directly.
Does this page show inspection results for The Gardner School of Franklin?
- No. Tennessee publishes a report card of licensing citations for each provider, and those are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects The Gardner School of Franklin's inspection history either way. Look the provider up on the state's child care provider map at onedhs.tn.gov and read its report card.
