A Child's World

My 3 little ones have been going here since September 2023, and they've been taken care of very well. They've potty trained, my oldest and middle child. They have separate classes for different age groups, which helps my kids socialize and interact with their peers. My kids had bad experiences with other daycares, but "A Child's World" has done amazing in making my kids feel safe. My 1 year old son, who usually hates everyone, has teachers and staff who have helped him become more social. I can go on, but overall, I only have good things to say about this daycare.

Do you love your child? DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. I never leave reviews but I am willing to do so to prevent other children and parents from going through what we went through. The owner of A Child’s World, is by far the most unprofessional, disrespectful, lying, and inappropriate person I have ever encountered. She lied to us from day one and tried covering her tracks every time we would bring up an issue. She yelled at us (in front of our children) with no regard for the repercussions of her actions. She has anger management issues and whenever she is approached about an issue she will immediately turn it around on to you. As if that wasn’t bad enough, she breaks the law on a daily basis by not allowing parents back into the classrooms to pick up or drop off their children. I don’t know what they’re hiding and why they are breaking the law in this way but it scares me beyond belief. We are currently amidst filing a licensing complaint with the state of Utah in order to ensure that no other child or parent ever has to deal with this “woman” ever again. If you have had any negative experiences you can feel free to comment on this review and I will send you the information to file a formal complaint with the government. Protect yourselves, and protect your children.

I made the best decision for my child when I left after two years at A Child’s World. While the teachers there are good and have always taken care of my child, for which I am grateful, I realized upon leaving that I was only receiving the bare minimum of care. First off, dealing with the front desk, especially Ms. Heidi, was terrible. She consistently gave me attitude, and when I had questions, she made me feel like a burden. Whenever I called to check in on my child, which was the only form of contact available since there’s no other way to reach them, the information I was given would never match what I was told when I picked him up. This happened for over a year. Additionally, I found it strange and concerning that they wouldn't allow me to go down and pick up my child. Instead, they insisted on bringing him to me. On top of that, I was never informed about who was watching my child during the day. I initially thought there was one main person responsible, but it turned out there were three other people, none of whom I knew. There’s much more, but ultimately, your children deserve the best care, and I don't believe this place provides that.

My daughter has been going here for 3-1/2 years. It's excellent, very clean, amazing staff, best playground and toys, awesome PRESCHOOL program, tons of arts and crafts, VERY easy going about payments (sometimes I fall behind 2 or 3 weeks and I've never heard a thing about it). They will send your child home for 2 days if they are sick. I'd highly recommend this place. I looked at all the other daycares and chose this one. They only charge 1 dollar a minute AFTER 630pm, which is when they close. My daughter goes here from 700- 430 mon-fri and it's about 500 a month.

My child hasn't attended this day care but I went to pick up a packet and the entire facility looks unkept. The outside looks trashy... I treat my home and my business with more care than a facility I'm suppose to pay alot of money to to watch my child? No thanks. Paint your building, clean up all the trash in your unkept landscaping and your play ground. On to the next daycare!
