ABC Great Beginnings - Taylorsville

This daycare used to be 5 stars until they lost all the good teachers. They’ve changed directors several times and now they call me over and over again to pick up my children because they don’t know how to keep a child from running out of their classroom. I’m a single parent and having to leave my job for a non emergency jeapordizes my job and the loss of my house, if I can’t make money to pay them and the bills. If I was able to just leave to go be with my kids, why would I need childcare. SUPER FRUSTRATING that they can’t do the job you pay them for.

I would like to give a shout out to Rachael the Program Specialist she is amazing. She has helped so much with the kids. She has helped the kids integrate into the classroom and created a bond with them Anytime I have had a grievance she has gotten it solved. . The place runs 100 times better with her there. If I could give her 100 star rating I would.

Raelynn is truly an incredible part of ABC Great Beginnings Daycare. She shows up every single day ready and willing to take on anything and everything that comes her way. When Raelynn is here, the center runs smoothly because of her organization, positive attitude, dedication, and genuine love for the children. She brings such a warm and caring energy to everyone around her and is always dependable and hardworking. The children absolutely adore her, and it is easy to see how much she cares about making each child feel safe, loved, and happy. Raelynn is truly a ray of sunshine every day, and ABC Great Beginnings is so lucky to have her.

This daycare has been the worst I’ve ever been to. As a former daycare teacher, I can confidently say that this place has consistently failed to keep track of the children. Moreover, they claim to accommodate children with disabilities, but their actions contradict this claim. They have denied almost everything and even attempted to enforce rules that violate the ADA. While there are a few good teachers there, I wish I could give them a positive review for their efforts. However, there have been countless instances where the rooms were in disarray, children were swearing, and no one seemed to be doing anything to address the situation.

The staff and leadership at this center have been great to work with. From the very beginning, the teachers created a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where it’s clear the children are genuinely cared for. They have been highly communicative, thoughtful, and clearly invested in both the kids and the parents, which builds a tremendous amount of trust. One of the biggest differentiators is the extended hours and weekend availability, which is incredibly valuable for families with demanding or non-traditional work schedules. In our experience, it is rare to find a center that combines flexibility with such a high level of care and professionalism. We would absolutely recommend this preschool to other families.
