Back to Basics Preschool and Daycare Center

We send both of our boys (one started at 6 months and is now 15 months and the other started at 21 months and is now almost 3) to Back to Basics and they absolutely love it. The staff is attentive, reliable and fun. They often come home with cute crafts and are picking up a 2nd language (spanish) which my husband and I love! We highly recommend Back to Basics.

THEY LEFT MY CHILD IN SOILED PANTS AND SHOES FOR OVER THREE HOURS. I had a horrible experience with this daycare. The last time I picked up my daughter at this facility in March of 2025 she had been left in her soiled clothes from nap due to multiple teachers and the director from 2pm until I changed her clothes myself a little after 5pm. The last time I entered this childcare center was a little after 5, the director and another teacher notified me that my child had an accident specifically at nap time. She was in the same clothes she had been dropped off in. As I took her shoes off they were filled with urine. her socks were dripping. Her feet were wrinkled from being soaked in her own urine for hours because staff neglected to make sure she was in clean and dry clothes. The staff in question are all mothers and have their children in this center.

My son has been going to B2B for a little over a year now. The teachers are wonderful, the center is clean, the outside area is really nice. All of the teachers know every child whether in their class or not. Becky cares about the center, kids, and teachers. If there is an issue, she jumps right on it.

We've had a wonderful experience with Back To Basics! The staff is caring, attentive, and great with the kids. The environment is clean, safe, and nurturing, and our child loves going there every day. We feel confident knowing our little one is in good hands. Highly recommend!

Mrs Johnson has run her preschool for decades with best interests for the children in her care and their parents. She chooses her teachers with her experience to match with the children in her care in order to help bond for best results and ease for the children. The daycare has very little turnover in staff due to this technique. The learning experience for children is top notch and done with full empowerment and care. Both my grown children went to Mrs Johnson after a bad experience with another preschool, I always felt like my children were in safe hands with a friendly and clean environment. I couldn't have asked for a better place for my children.
