5 Stars – Highly Recommend Bear Essentials Academy! Bear Essentials Academy is truly an amazing daycare with an awesome staff. From day one, they made us feel completely comfortable leaving our daughter in their care. The communication is top-notch — the app they use makes it easy to stay in the loop with photo updates, upcoming activities, and a detailed log of naps, bottle feeds, and diaper changes. Even in the baby room, our daughter has learned so much. It's incredible to see how engaged she is, and she absolutely loves bringing home her artwork to proudly display. The facilities are always clean and well-maintained, and the outdoor play area is safe and thoughtfully designed. We’re so grateful to have found a place that feels like a second home for our little one!

We love Bear Essentials Academy! The staff is amazing and helpful. The baby room teachers take great care of our 6 month old daughter they give us live updates on how she is doing, and they stay consistent and never have to worry about if she need anything. The staff makes sure our child has everything she need and if she doesn't they will inform us on what she need. They help her hit all her milestones, big and small. We love bear essentials, and we're glad our daughter goes here.

I have two kiddos. At the time of this review, which I should have written long ago, my nine-year-old still attends this amazing daycare as that my teen aged out two years ago, which means I have had 14 years of excellent experiences with this business. My oldest started at Bear Essentials June 2010 as a preemie infant, with a number of food allergies and developmental delays. My husband and I had researched multiple daycares and immediately felt at peace when we met the lovely Wendy P. Her daycare was cheery and exceptionally clean (at the time, she had just the one location). Although my son was challenging, having food restrictions, delayed walking and talking, and unusual social interactions (we now know that he is autistic), they treated him fairly and with kindness, helping him grow into the young adult that he is today. He was a projectile-vomiter as a baby due to his allergies to formula, so I know that he sprayed almost every teacher there. No one said a single negative word about it and always shared the positive milestones with me, such as when he took his first steps at 18 months. We all celebrated! When my daughter was born in 2014, we were thrilled to have her join the Bear Essentials family. She has a strong social circle there, having a handful of friends whom she met as as an infant and many new friends whom she met later. (I've even gained some amazing friends from this network.) She loves it there and has a blast during the well-designed summer program, where kids go on field trips to fun places every day. During the school year, she gets upset with me when I pick her up too early, regularly asking if I can go home and get her later. What does that tell you about this daycare? :) My daughter is a vegetarian, and the kitchen teammates do their best to accommodate her (she is a huge fan of their "amazing and yummy" mac and cheese). All of the directors, teachers, and assistants are great! However, my daughter and son both adore their male teacher, which to have positive male role models in the daycare environment is such a gift (military base field trip to look at aircraft was a huge hit). Let's face it -- daycare is expensive. For me, since I must work, I need the peace of mind that my children are safe and happy. As such, I view Bear Essentials as competitively priced for the excellent quality and low staff turnover. My daughter literally loves it there! I have friends who expect to pay next to nothing for child care, but they have then ended up not receiving the quality, reliable, or safe child care that I benefit from at Bear Essentials. Less-than-ideal stuff happens in life. In the 14 years that I have been at Bear Essentials, I recall about ten events where my children were injured due to normal kid activities -- a scratch here, a bruise there, and a one instance of needing a stitch from falling off a toy. I have never attributed these accidents to neglect because the same, or more severe mishaps, have happened at my own home under our care. (We can't lock them away and have to let them experience the world!) I appreciate the timely and thorough incident reports or calls for such situations as well as for any meanness among kids (Bear Essentials watches for bullying and focuses on inclusion). Choosing Bear Essentials Academy for our children was the best decision that we have made for them!

This daycare is the best there is! The directors and teachers are incredible, they love what they do and they work hard too! They have frequent trainings, and are always striving to be better. Not only that, but the cleanliness is impeccable. There are so many other facilities that do not keep up on cleaning, but you can feel it and notice it in Bear Essentials. My daughter has been coming for 2 years, and I feel confident she is getting the best, the most safe, and health-conscious care she can outside of the home.

This Daycare Is amazing! My 4 children have been attending for almost a year now and I am so grateful we were able to find such an amazing and caring day care. The staff here are fantastic and really show genuine kindness And care to my children. As a mother who has never had to put her children into day care before, I couldn't be more appreciative or happier. They have field trips in the summer and Go swimming, to the movies, Library visits and picnics at the park. In the winter They have the cutest Christmas program. This daycare cares about families.
