We used this center for backup care for my son and he felt so comfortable and well taken care of the whole time. He only attended two days but the teachers all knew his name and where he was at any given time. They gave information about his day at pickup and genuinely seemed so caring at drop off as well. They have a visual chart schedule of each part of the day to show the kids what will happen and this made him feel so safe and helped him understand their process. Each day at pickup he said he had a GREAT day and he was happy to go back at drop off. Thank you to all of these amazing childcare providers for making a new scary thing for a kid (and mom, let’s be honest) so easy and kind.
Courtney BoyettJun 11, 2026I cannot say enough wonderful things about this program. My son just started in the pre-K program. He has autism, but he's high functioning. They worked with his BCBA to come up with a behavior plan before he started. We had multiple meetings to discuss how they could accommodate my son. They are incorporating lessons on autism into their curriculum to help the other children understand the areas where my son struggles to promote diversity and inclusion. The teachers interact with him and actually take instructional control rather than leaving it to the RBTs. He's included in every single activity they do. The teachers, staff, directors, and everyone there has been absolutely amazing to work with and they have all been so kind and welcoming to my son. I'm also so impressed with the curriculum and the activities that they do. Parents are sent a detailed schedule each week that shows the lesson plans, which are so interesting! They have a total of an hour and a half outside every day (weather permitting), which is absolutely wonderful and necessary for kids that age. The lunch menu every day looks so amazing. 10/10 amazing program.
Meredith RisatiOct 22, 2025This center is a community staple that has been around for years. You can find a good mix of experienced educators that have been at the center for years and new fresh educators that bring new persepective. This center is so inclusive and you can see and feel it when you first walk in the front door. Not all centers strive for community engagement, satisfaction and inclusion, but this center does to its fullest. I recommend taking a tour and seeing it for yourself.
Monica McCaryFeb 5, 2025My son attended Bright Horizons at Research Park from the time he was 3 months until he left for Kindergarten. He was very prepared for Kindergarten. He loved coming to school and loved his teachers. They were very caring and great at communicating any needs and how he was doing. I loved the family feel every time I came in. I am so glad I decided to bring him to this center. We have gained a family for life.
Jennifer UigaeseJan 14, 2025My daughter attends bright horizon for over a year now. She started at the toddler classroom and then transferred to the 2’s. We love this place, it feels like a community! The teachers and staff are very caring for kids and do awesome job to address any concerns parents have. Communication is always easy and in time! The food they provide is healthy and fresh. A lot of fun activities in the curriculum and webinars for parents to learn and communicate their concerns. We transferred to another school after a year because we moved further south and the traffic was bad…. It was a huge debate for us… but I hate to be locked in the car in the highway 🥲. Wish they have a branch somewhere near Sandy/ cottonwood heights.
