  • Too many activities to perform, from aquatic to rock climbing to gym to many more. It's very much affordable. I had to just pay $32 for 8 swim team lessons while in other places I was paying $40 per class. Just one thing to note, since it's publically very much accessible, some of the things are booked pretty much a month in advance. So you need to plan very well.

  • The Dimple Dell rec center has a wide variety of services. Weight training gym, track for running, several basketball courts, and a classroom. The climbing gym is a unique touch but the centerpiece is the the pool. The pool at this rec center has a a large slide, lazy river, kiddie section and Olympic-style section. Large windows keep well lit and there are always plenty of lifeguards on duty. The entry is safe, locker rooms are clean, and the pool is large enough for large groups to be comfortable. Parking has never been a problem even at peak hours. Access is quick from 106th south. They have lots of classes and programs going on, it seems like there are always people there doing something.

  • Visitor from AZ. Fantastic place! Don’t understand those who complain about a community rec center. Very nice place. Cheap entrance fee. Pool area, warm water, rock climbing, clean gym and nice equipment, several ball courts along with track and pickle ball courts. The doors open in the pool area were so refreshing for air flow. Just great! No complaints!

  • I love taking my kids to Dimple Dell, the childcare staff is fantastic and the facility is alway clean. My top complaint is with the pool, based on 6 separate visits to the pool between November and February the outside doors have been open EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. It is very frustrating. The water on the kids’ side of the pool is always too cold, and the doors leading to the locker rooms (and the air conditioned area) are always open, adding another cold draft on the young kids. I wish someone in a leadership position at the rec center would address this.

  • The rockwall at dimple dell is awesome! It’s thirty feet tall and about forty feet wide. It offers great practice for overhang and crack climbing on multiple routes. You can climb with the artificial colorful holds or go all naturals on any route. The staff is awesome and they’ll teach you how to belay if they aren’t busy and you ask.
