I went a few days ago to look for information for my daughter, and the person who helped us couldn't answer any of our questions. She told us she couldn't help us because the boss was away on vacation and would be back in a week!!! We wanted to make an appointment for a tour and see the facilities and all she kept telling us was that she had no information for each of our questions!!! Imagine if that was the first impression, I can't imagine how they take care of the children! (This girl was super lost) so we decided to leave and look for other options in the area!!
Desi ParJul 31, 202510 out of 5!!! I was so hesitant to enroll my child in any care. Once I took the plunge, I quickly felt at ease knowing how great she was being taken care of and how much she was loved. The staff and owners are INCREDIBLE. The teachers work with the kids and problem-solve while still ensuring parents are communicated with (I've noticed with other schools, this is not done as it is at Doodlebug). The communication between staff and admin is amazing. Whether it's what your kiddo ate for the day or a cute picture. Or if its an important admin matter and you are speaking directly with the owners. I couldn't say enough. I was paying out of pocket, and it was by far the most affordable, while including meals and snacks. The school is always SECURE and always clean. My friends kids pick up and drop off is chaos. At Doodlebug, its a breeze. The teachers check in and out at the door which makes it not only more secure but also easier on the parent that their child and their items are collected and ready to go. We are only leaving due to moving to a different city. I'm hesitant and might be back, if we're being honest. If you're looking for a sign... this is it. 🥰 Thank you teachers, staff and owners for taking care of my kiddo.
Heather GeorgeJul 14, 2025If you are looking for a daycare to take good care of elf your children, look somewhere else. My kids have been to three daycares in the lifetime (only due to us moving), and I have never had any issues with a daycare before this one. My kids never had any issues either. I had a bad feeling when I took a tour of the facility and the girl giving the tour couldn’t even answer basic questions like what curriculum they use for preschool. But I thought I would give it a shot. My kids went to this daycare for a few months. My son would come home and would tell me about these kids being mean to him. He gave me the name of the kid so I brought it up with the teachers and was told that they just “rough house”. Another day, my son comes home and tells me he never wants to go to that school again. Anytime my son came home upset or had an incident that happened to him, it was always the same kid. I honestly wonder if it’s an employee’s child because they started writing in my kids incident reports that he was “accidentally hit” or “accidentally pushed”. Then they started telling me my son was have “behavior” issues. These behavior issues were typical toddler behavior for anyone who works with children. I took him to a children’s therapist to double check and the therapist confirmed he had no behavior issues. I was then called while I am at work and informed my son is on a two week probationary period and if he does anything as small as not listening, he will be kicked out of the daycare. A few days go by and my husband receives a call as he is literally a minute away from the daycare that my son cannot attend the daycare anymore. These “teachers” know nothing about typical toddler behavior and how to handle NORMAL behaviors. Not to mention, they constantly notified me of every “wrong” thing my child did, including him knocking another kids snack cup over, but yet my daughter who goes to the same daycare gets a gash from her wrist to her elbow and I am told no one noticed anything and “she didn’t even cry” which is hullshit given that my daughter cries if she falls and doesn’t get scrapped. My son was bullied every day and nothing was done. And then they turned it on my son acting as if he is the problem. Well he’s not doodle bugs, every employee of yours is. Not to mention I still have not gotten my refund from them. AVOID THIS DAYCARE AT ALL COSTS. It is not worth the mental and physical wellbeing of your child to take them here.
Cierra SprayMay 10, 2025First off, I would like to say I love this place and these people. They all truly have loved my children as one of their own. I have 3 kids who are now 12, 9, and 3. All of them have attended Doodle bugs. This center is always clean and welcoming. We started with these guys waaay back when my 2 older kids were 1yo and 3yo. The kids always are talking about their fun memories they had growing up playing on playground, going to the park, and even going on field trips to Hill Air force base or Aquarium. I can't thank these guys enough for the care they have given to all of my children especially my youngest. My youngest suffers from febrile seizures and he had his first one at the daycare. They're entire staff is trained on how to handle these situations and if it wasn't for them, I don't know where we would be today. They noticed the signs and quickly responded. A member of the staff even stayed holding my baby in the ambulance all the way to the hospital until we could there so he wouldn't be alone. We love these guys and highly recommend to anyone!
Ashlee PodbornyMar 5, 2020I highly recommend Doodle Bugs! The group of people who own and run this daycare center are simply amazing. Our kids were with them when they were running out of a home before officially opening their facility. They cared for all three of our kids for 7 years, 2 of which started there as infants. Our youngest would still be there today if we had not moved over an hour away. We moved over a year ago and the kids still ask about them and say how much they miss them. We trust this daycare with our kids life’s, Literally. Due to the staff being certified in CPR, they actually saved our youngest child who unexpectedly quit breathing, the phone call no parent should ever receive. The composure that they were able to keep during that dreadful day was something you could not describe. When we arrived to the hospital, there was members of the staff by our son’s bedside with tears in their eyes. It was so comforting to see that with the issue at hand. They really care for the children and treat them as if they are one of there own. They really do give a new meaning to “Family Run Business” as you truly become family to them.
Chris PodbornyMar 4, 2020Our daughter has been attending Doodle Bugs for over a year now and she has absolutley loved it! She had a REALLY hard time at the previous daycare provider and would cry like crazy at drop off and pick up so we had to make a switch. Immediately the staff at Doodlebugs took her in and made her feel so comfortable and she gets excited to go her 3 days a week. Its kept so clean and the kids are always having a blast doing some kind of activity when you walk in.
