I wish the pool was bigger. The locker room needs changing rooms with curtains for everyone's privacy. I got lucky that the ADA changing room was right next to the shower I'd used and available. My son had the same luck, but the mom and pre- school aged daughter who were also in need didn't get to use a dry curtained off or doored changing area. They had one family changing room available in the main hallway, but you have to get staff permission to access it. This is a community rec center. It shouldn't be so challenging to have private changing areas. Also, please put signage in the locker rooms for the restrooms, the showers, and the way to the pool. It's a maze in there.
Elisha RobertsJun 13, 2026Prejudice staff at the pool. They will target you and the whole group will talk about you to the other employees as will as whispering. It made us very uncomfortable too. Worst experience ever. horrible. The front desk staff is amazing i would love to add. I left and went to the one im cottonwood heights. So much better pool staff is easy to talk to and not rude and snobby like west jordan. Catnip should train the lifeguards better
Brittany NewboldJun 9, 2026Good place have to be a certain age to even go into the weight room, and they dont have a room where you can do yoga or just workout with out the weights so you cant really work out but the pool is nice the basketball is okay and the track cant go on there till your like 16
TiagoJun 2, 2026I only went here for the pool with my baby. It is clean and fun. However, my biggest complaints about the pool are that there isn't anywhere in the play area of the pool that is deep enough for me to stand up and hold my baby without her being out of the water, so I had to squat the whole time to keep her torso in the water (to keep her warm), and there is no way to get on the play structure without having water fall on you, which my baby was not a fan of. The lazy river is small, but the bubble bench is fun. I prefer the South Jordan Rec Center for taking my baby--it has a bigger area for kids, a longer lazy river, deeper parts of the pool, and a better play structure, plus a big water slide for older kids and adults.
Clara WarrickMay 8, 2026I really like it here its clean and the pool is clean and the lifeguards are always having their full attention. And the gym equipment is nice too just my only take back is that almost all the dumbells had a sticky handle.. but other than that everything is great
ReviewerApr 6, 2026My son is handicapped/learning disabilities. He loves to go play basketball he had his $160 ball stolen and 1 week later another 1 stolen from his bag. I reported it. The lady said basically not our problem and our cameras are down they dont work so maybe tell him to keep an eye on his ball. So uncalled for when they all know who he is. Maybe if they had bigger lockers then just tiny lockers for phones and keys tgis could be avoided but I guess bring everything to the restroom if you need to go bc theres theirs there amd staff choose to allow it. What a shame
