  • Older equipment and not that many classes. It looks like less people go here than Vasa, so you will wait less, but the quality of Vasa is better.

  • Some folks are looking for a social scene at the gym. You know the people. Name brand sweat clothes. Brand new kicks. They gather around the water fountain drinking their protein and flexing in the mirror together. I am not that guy. If you make eye contact with me at the gym on purpose please know I am hoping your car won't start when you leave. Having said that, we all review gyms for different reasons. Lift has ALL the things any gym should have (Minus massage chairs). If you are a serious person concerned with fitness this is the place for you. They have phenomenal staff. Their programs are great and the instructors are tip top. They keep the place clean and there are fresh towels everywhere. You can't beat the price of membership. I have to mention Paul. Paul is the maintenance guy. I am new to this place and don't have the hours memorized just yet. I showed up to an empty gym and thought it must be due to turkey holiday. So, I geared up and hopped on the treadmill. I ran for over an hour and then went into the sauna. They were closing when I showed up. Paul didn't even disturb me. Reportedly he had some work to do and saw that I was focused. He let me run for 80 minutes and sit in the sauna for 20 before he let me know they had closed hours ago. What a guy. Although the weekend hours are no where close to what I want them to be, I have to rate this gym at 100% for the afore mentioned reasons. Also, come join me here at Lift. The place is fantastic. Just don't look me in the eyes!

  • I love everything about this gym! The gym is extremally clean and well organized. The fresh clean complimentary white towels are next level! The gym has every type of equipment you need and plenty of space for functional type workouts as well. The membership price is perfect to not only be affordable but it also filters out the lower tier globo gym type crowd. All the members are friendly and feel like family. Plus visitor day passes are only $6 which is great for anyone visiting from out of town. The owner Kim is always around smiling and helping, working the front desk often and always cleaning. It means alot to know the gym is locally owned and that she works so hard each day for all of her members. I highly recommend LIFT if your serious about your workouts, don't like crowds, appreciate hard working local owners and love a clean organized space. Thanks for all your hard work Kim! We love you!

  • This is the best gym in Utah! I have been to every other gym in the area and this one is always so clean and the nicest people come here. The owners treat you like family and really care about everyone that comes in. Amazing classes, awesome child care, no hidden fees and incredible personal trainers. If you want the best gym experience, then definitely come join the Lift family.

  • Here are some things I really like about the gym 1) Premise is really nice - really good equipment, enough weights and machines and not too crowded. 2) The owners are there on site - a lot. You can tell they are people who care about the gym. They are very helpful with any questions you have. 3) The cost of the gym is very transparent. It may seem on the high side for some but there aren't hidden fees. If you add in enrollment fees and yearly fees and cancellation fees from other gyms it really isn't that different. It's also worth it to mention that many health insurances help and they help you figure that out. They called my insurance for me to ask how much it would reimburse. 4) The lockers are free to use and have customizable combination locks built in. It's another small thing, but at other gyms it's another $10 I have to spend for a good lock. So far so good. As of right now they have a free trial - so I recommend trying it.

  • Love this gym! I'm really not a gym person, but I enjoy this gym! Staff at the front are always pleasant, always greet people and say good bye. The owner is great and makes sure Lift takes an active role in being a positive member of the community. I mostly do the classes and enjoy all the instructors - pleasant and know their stuff. Facilities are always clean and equipment in good repair. Great place to spend your time! And I think the pleasant staff run off on the clients because I find most people here are also pleasant.
