  • We have a 4 and 2 year old enrolled in Magnolia Academy in Salem. We’ve been there for 3 months, and we’ve had a great experience. There is always at least 2 teachers there at all times. Despite the potential for a bustling environment, especially with the unique demands of newborns and toddlers, the level of individual attention has been commendable. Becca, Whitley, and Aubrey are awesome. The attentive care has kept our children content and engaged, and the opportunity for our kids to be together in the same class has been a significant plus. The place is clean and modern with age-appropriate toys. The outdoor area is small, but still useable and our kids have never seemed to mind. Overall, it is a great and safe environment and our kids enjoy going.

  • I have been very impressed with Magnolia Academy. The caretakers are friendly and professional in their interactions. Our kids have mentioned how much they love the food that Becca (and others) prepare for them. They also like spending time with Aubrey before we come to pick them up. I'm especially grateful for the prompt communication and regular check-ins through the online "Brightwheel" app. The rooms are also always clean and well maintained. As for improvements: I hope to see more learning curriculum incorporated into their day to day activities that are age appropriate. Also, our kids like the outside play area, but they are restricted to only half the yard that has grass installed. I understand this is a newer location that just opened and improvements are being made which we appreciate. Overall, I would recommend Magnolia as a great option for childcare!

  • We love Magnolia Academy! Being a first time mom and knowing I was going back to work I was determined to find the best childcare for my little boy! I remember setting up a tour and I was amazed by the cleanliness and quality of the daycare! I know that Becca, Whitley, and Aubrey take such good care of my little one and they are great about notifying me about everything. It’s reassuring that they keep the babies separated so I know he is safe. They also use a great app that logs everything my little one is doing and sends pictures throughout the day so I know that he is being cared for! Overall I would recommend this daycare to anyone!

  • We love Magnolia Academy! I searched and searched for the right childcare situation, and the relief I felt when I toured Magnolia was unmistakable. It was the first venue that was clean, smelled good, and was set up in a warm and inviting manner. (I love that they have an air purifier too, I feel like my kids rarely get sick, and I attribute it to the cleanliness of the facility and quality of care.) I have appreciated how their teachers, like Ms.Whitley, have noticed different eating/potty habits for my toddler, and can help him out in a personal manner. I also love the regular pictures of their cute crafts and activities, and the updates about their fun and healthy mealtimes. In the beginning my toddler had a hard time transitioning to daycare. But the teachers, like Ms.Becca were all so helpful and patient with him through his struggle, and did their best to help him. And now he loves the routine! He even said to me the other day, "Mama, I love daycare!" What a relief! That definitely sealed the deal for us. I am so grateful we could find a place where my children are well cared for. I definitely recommend Magnolia to anyone looking for quality care in an in-home environment.
